5.FAQ of Solar Module

1. Q: Do you have your own factory?

A: Yes, we have. Our factory located in Jiangyin city, jiangsu province.

2. Q: How can I visit your factory?
A: Before you take off from your country, please let us know. We will show you the way,or arrange time to pick you up if possible.
3. Q: Could you print our company LOGO on the nameplate and package?
A: Yes, we can do that.
4. Q: Do you accept custom design on size?
A: Yes, if the size is reasonable.

Q: What is the efficiency of modern solar panels?
The efficiency of modern solar panels typically ranges from 15% to 20%, with some advanced models reaching up to 22%.
Q: Can solar panels be connected to the grid?
Yes, solar panels can be connected to the grid through a process called grid-tie or grid-connected system. This allows excess electricity generated by the solar panels to be fed back into the grid, reducing reliance on traditional power sources and potentially earning credits or payments from the utility company.
Q: The Physics club in our school is trying to convince the Board of Ed to install solar panels in our school, and i was just wondering if anyone with some experience or real expertise in solar energy. I need some points about their usefulness some real pros and cons on maintenance, etc. Anything will help. Personally i would be perfectly for the idea, but i heard that the overall cost of installing them is much higher than the cost of the energy saved and government subsidies, but ive only heard about this.
Cuts Costs over time
Q: I want to make 2V 4.5A solar panel to charge my battery used in my RC car project. I just like to know how should I amplify the current for 4.5A. I need the total circuit diagram. Can anyone help me. Please. I need some affordable methods please.
To increase current, you connect the cells in parallel. But I think you really mean you need 4.5 watts rather than 4.5 amps of current. For an RC car, 4.5 amps would be huge, literally a regular car battery. So I think you mean you need a 2v, 4.5w panel. That would make more sense for an RC car battery. I went on OKorder and bought a 2v, 5 watt panel for about $30.
Q: By best I mean safest places. If I were to install them on my roof am I risking due to damage from weathering? Such as rain or snow. I don't get very high winds around here, nor any natural disasters such as hurricanes or tornadoes. Does anyone have solar panels that have been durable for a long time? Is it worth the investment?
Solar panels have to be installed so that they face the equator, so they would have to point south in the U.S.. There are panels designed for exterior mounting and panels designed to go behind glass walls, I've even seen some that are made to replace roof shingles. You'll have to determine if they are worth it or not. Most companies that manufacture the panels rate the output based on the area in which you live. If you live in the north, payback is usually over 20 years, closer to the equator the payoff is quicker, but still a while. The question of worth is relative: are you trying to save money or help save the world? Any alternative to hydro carbon is great for the environment, but most are still very expensive.
Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of electromagnetic radiation?
Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of electromagnetic radiation. While electromagnetic radiation can potentially interfere with the functioning of electronic devices, solar panels are designed to withstand various environmental conditions. They are typically equipped with protective measures, such as grounding and shielding, to minimize the impact of electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, as long as the solar panels are installed correctly and maintained properly, they can continue to generate electricity efficiently even in areas with high levels of electromagnetic radiation.
Q: I've been figuring ways to keep water thawed out this winter, and this bucket seems to be the easiest thing. What kind of set up (solar panel) would I need to feed this 260 watt heated bucket?
Unfortunately solar panels are low output, generally only 2 volt and very low amperage,so you would need to build a multi panel array with a DC-AC converter all together costing several hundred dollars which would only work during sunlight.Just roughly figuring, about $800. Plan2-Solar charger, battery bank, and DC-AC inverter so it would work 24hrs a day, also several hundred $$. Solar power does just not seem feasible(to me)in this application.By far the cheapest set up here would be an extension cord fromhouse to the bucket.260 watts per hr is a fairly lightweight draw, even not figuring the thermostat's cycling it on and off as needed.Electricity is sold in kilowatt hours(000W/hr).This bucket would use(not allowing for thermostats control lowering it)appx 6000watts or 6KW per day.Depending on your electrical cost per Kwh it would cost very little to run.(In my location appx 50cents a day) or appx the same amount as my computer(325watts total)) Note that that would be a maximum rate, and would actually be less due to thermostat cycling off and on as needed.
Q: Can solar panels be damaged by hail or other elements?
Yes, solar panels can be damaged by hail or other elements. Hailstones can cause cracks or dents in the panels, impairing their functionality. Other elements like heavy rain, strong winds, or debris from storms can also potentially damage solar panels. However, most solar panels are designed to withstand typical weather conditions and are often tested for durability.
Q: Can solar panels be used for powering an electric fence?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power an electric fence. Solar panels can generate electricity from sunlight, which can then be stored in batteries or directly used to power electrical devices, including electric fences. This allows for a sustainable and independent power source for electric fences, especially in remote areas where access to traditional power grids may be limited.
Q: How do solar panels affect the roof's structure and integrity?
Solar panels can have some impact on the roof's structure and integrity, but they are designed to be lightweight and installed without compromising the roof's stability. Properly installed solar panels distribute the weight evenly, reducing the likelihood of any structural damage. Additionally, solar panels can help protect the roof by shielding it from the elements, potentially extending its lifespan. However, it is crucial to consult with a professional to ensure proper installation and minimize any potential impact on the roof.
