- Q:I live in Kansas and my dad has lung cancer. Where can I get a power of attorney form? What is the process so I can make finical decisions for him
- Simply Google 'power of attorney forms Kansas' and take your pick. Remember that a general power of attorney won't give you carte blanch to run your fathers finances, many banks and other institutions require their OWN PoA's to be filled out. Businesses are not REQUIRED by law to accept a PoA, I suggest you sit down with an attorney and discuss options. Besides, I would be more worried about making his health care decisions than any other decision.
- Q:At least 20 years ago, my aunt (who is now dead) opened a bank account in my name in Chicago. She was very parinoid and had althimers, therefore, I don't know if she took the money out after I left or not. Also she has a lady who looks over her-and she's basically gotten power of attorney over her. So bottom line, My question is-how do I go about finding out if the account is still there or not. (please no smart-*** asnwers-or i WILL report you)
- Well if you were a minor when the account was open, there are very different laws regarding those than regular accounts. First of all, a minor is never a full signer on an account, so the money was solely hers, just in your benefit. What the girl in the answer above me said is not correct. The statements will not come in your name when you turn 16. Your information as far as your credit or social security number was never run when the account was open so there is no way of tracing it back to you. The only option you would have left is contacting the person that has the power of attorney. She could then call the bank and ask them to search under your aunts social security number and see if there are any accounts open. I know this is a difficult situation. I'm sorry for the long answer, but I hope this helps!
- Q:if you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
- Fly, heal, and be able eat a half gallon of chocolate ice cream at a single seating.
- Q:I have a camcorder which can be operated without battery attached but AC/DC power adapter with DC output 5.2 V - 1A.From the internet I understand that PowerBank provide 5 V - 1A output.Assuming that I do a modification of the USB cable jack of the power-bank so it can fit to the camcorder hole where the AC/DC power-adapter jack goes in :with this power-bank as a power supply (not for battery recharging) :will my camcorder runs normally just like when it runs from AC/DC power adapter ?If the camcorder runs - is it safe for my camcorder running from the power-bank as it's power supply ?I also wonder, why my battery camcorder is DC 3.5V - 860 mAh not 5V - 1A just like the DC output from camcorder adapter ?Any kind of respond will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.
- If the camera's own adapter supplies 5.2V it should run equally well on 5V. The camera has internal circuitry to drop that voltage to the 3.5V level coming from the internal battery. Your second question is partly answered by that as well. As for the difference between 860 and 1, they are different units. 860 mAh is a capacity for work - it will deliver 860 mA for 1 hour or 430 mA for 2hours. My guess is that the camcorder will draw something like 900 mA and run for slightly less than 1 hour. The capability of the adapter to supply 1000mA does not mean that the camera takes that amount. It is good engineering practice to provide a safety factor: the power supply will not run so hot if it is working below its maximum.
- Q:(granted: you use both these things for honest causes. So no using super powers to rob banks and stuff like that.)BQ: What super powers would you want?
- Superpowers. First of all, they can equate to money. How much would a pro football team pay for a player who can fly? Second of all, wealth may get you women, but how many women do you think you can get if you could fly? Any women want to make love amongst the stars? hmmmm? BQ: Clearly, I have chosen flying. Though were I to put serious thought into it I might come up with something else.
- Q:What is the capacity of the mobile power?
- There are two specific reasons: one is the large-capacity mobile power in the security aspects of the problem more easily, followed by large capacity mobile power in the portability will be greatly reduced.
- Q:I got a '05 Duramax and want some more power. Is anyone better than the other for Chevy? Anything I should know before?
- They're all good, but I trust Banks. He's been doing this stuff for decades and his focus is on safe levels of power so relibility is not an issue. The others may claim more powerthey may even make more power, but Banks' reliability is second to none. They have the best quality parts and service out there. I'd only trust my stuff to Banks.
- Q:Assume that at some point in your life, you will maintain several bank accounts including a checking account and a money market account. You might pay a fee of $100 each year for your bank to sweep funds to and from your checking account depending on the balances. At the same time, you might have a job that provides for an increase in your salary based on changes in the rate of inflation. In this situation does a loss in purchasing power represent a cost of inflation? Why or why not? Do your banking fees represent a cost of inflation? Why or why not?
- Inflation is a fall in the real value of your currency. Your money buy less. Decline in purchasing power. Bank fees are something different. The bank fees that you pay are something you have contractually agreed to with your bank. It doesn't matter where the value of your currency goes, your bank fees are the same.
- Q:I went to one of the major banks in Australia as a non-customer with $80 worth of $20 Australian notes wanting to exchange them for $10 Australian notes and they said it will cost 10% ($8) to do it. How can it cost so much money to change money in the same currency? I can understand it costing money if it was a lot of money or I brought in heap of coins but this was literally 4 notes! Why are they so greedy for money hitting people who can least afford it?
- Yes that’s stupid. But you can see Money makes the world. Sad.
- Q:I ve only ever charged it once and it worked. Now after completely draining it I tried to recharge it but when I connect it, it only blinks to indicate low power but doesn t charge! what s wrong?
- Keep trying to charge it. Unplug replug it every 30mn until it catches. You can only charge it via the micro USB and discharge it to charge your phone through the standard USB port, or it will be damaged.
