- yes, you can have him fill out a power of attorney form. this will give you authority to handle any transactions/business he give permission for. it can very specific (just this bank) or very broad (any bank account he has). you mean military boot camp? if so, i would think they can help him with this. this will give you authority to gain access to the account. you can then fill out additional bank forms to add yourself to the bank account.
