Q: How should I go about stringing paper Cranes together??I alreadly know how to make them, its just that I have no clue how to put them together
Depends how you want to string them... but use thread and a needle. If you want to string them vertically, put the needle through the body of the paper crane... I not sure about horizontally. Too keep them in place, place knots below the body of the crane. I hope this helps, but I hope another more experienced person answers this :P
Q: If you were to give someone a paper crane with an ayat or hadith (has to be short, as I have to write on its wings)... what would you write?I was thinking of writing this:Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home. [13:24]I'm not sure though...lol. Any ideas? Salam.

Q: Since a crane has to extend outriggers while performing lifting operation , is it ok to allow a crane to transfer materials by carrying without extending outriggers and lifting and carrying load to different location especially in construction industry for safety reasons?
It would work but there's the danger of the load swinging damaging the crane or other vehicles or losing it's centre of gravity toppling etc. when it's moving. For most lifts the outriggers are required to stabilise the crane itself - not the load. You're dead right - the on-site safety protocols that are in place these days demand that everything is done absolutely the right way. If anything goes wrong there's be hell to pay for anyone involved even if they've done their best to get things right.
Q: how does the power electronic drives employed in cranes?
The primary function of an electronic drive is to provide for operation at various speeds. Slow speed operation is used when moving a load into position. Faster speeds are used for moving loads over longer distances. When the operating speed is steplessly adjustable, ramped acceleration and deceleration control is easily provided as well. Controlled acceleration provides smoother operation because acceleration at a constant rate means accelerating with a constant force or torque. Electronic drives control torque and current during starting. They perform a function similar to a reduced voltage motor starter, but they do it steplessly, more efficiently, with more complete control of applied torque. They provide more torque per ampere of current than any other starting method. This is very beneficial for the frequent starting and stopping often required for cranes. Electromechanical motor controls for cranes require additional contactors, relays and other components to perform functions such as reversing, motor overload protection and braking. These functions are incorporated into the electronic controls with electronic drives. Electronic braking can return energy to the power supply and bring the load to nearly a complete stop before a friction brake is applied. For holding the load in position, an electromechanical brake is still required. Electronic drives can be used on bridge, trolley and hoist applications.

Generally speaking, the main parameters of the tower crane are:Maximum amplitude unit MMaximum lifting height, unit MMaximum lifting torque unit KN.mMaximum lifting speed unit m/minMaximum lifting unit tRotational speed unit r/minVariable speed unit m/min or o/minWalking speed per unit m/minMotor power unit w......Please refer to the product manual.
Q: Does anyone have any info on John B. Crane?
Do you mean the Lecturer John B. Crane of the Redpath Chautauqua Collection? Thats the only one I know.
Q: my HSAP prep teacher wants us to find instructions on how to make an oragami crane. She said that it has to be less than 24 steps.I have looked on the internet and I cannot find anything.I need this by tomorrow. Please help!
Start with a square piece of paper. You got that? Fold the paper corner to corner to get a large right triangle, and fold it corner to corner again to get a smaller triangle. You got that ,or did I lose you. Open the paper, and you will see a big X. Never mind the X. We will come back to it. Now fold the paper side to side to get a rectangle, and fold the two SHORT SIDES to the X fold. Open and do the other two by repeating what you just did. Open the paper FLAT. You can now see a 4 pointed star. Along the four sides of the square, push down on the perimeter of the star to make the star come up. Fold down until you have a flat KITE. Make sure you have 2 flaps on each side. What you are looking at now is one wing, and the other one is in the back. The neck and head are inside the wings. Pull them out half way to expose them. Fold one side at the tip to make a head. If you did everything correctly, and hold under the neck with one hand and pull the tail with the other hand, the crane should flap its wing. Write back if you need more help.
Q: Can Ichabod Crane defeat the Headless Undocumented Worker before he prunes someone's bushes into hedges?
Ichabod Crane was a tall, lanky man, with feet like shovels. He may be able to do it. I thought of this story too, when I heard about the mysterious headless bodies.
Q: how do they erect those large tower cranes you see on big building projects?
with another crane. assemble the tower first in sections, assemble the jib on the ground then lift it into place
