- Q:I'm thinking of putting a small pond in for my ducks, something like 150 - 200 gallons. I don't want to use the type of liner that comes in sheets and you roll it out (fabric liner I think it's called?) because I would be worried my ducks feet could puncture it. Because of that I was looking into the preformed ponds that are ridged plastic.
- I would use either 40 mil butyl rubber liner or a Rubbermaid horse trough. Both are cheaper than the flex pond and ducks will not harm them. Just remember that ducks are messy and you will be cleaning the pond at least once weekly if not more often. That means pump out all the water and wet vac the bottom. I would use a kiddy play pond that you find at any big box store for about 15 dollars.

- Hi well just remember that people will have fun if you are having fun too! I'm not a pro musician (I do play guitar too and piano though) but as someone who has been to many concerts and such, people aren't very judgmental unless you are paranoid, stiff, or too-self conscious. Like at karaoke, even people who can't really sing but have a good attitude are cheered on if they at least try. On another note, you could try medication like beta-blockers if you have really bad nerves. I don't really get nervous even on stage (I was in a talent show) so I wouldn't really know, but many musicians and public speakers use beta blockers (heard it on NPR!)

- When I was in your position, I would go through entire mental stage fright symptoms. I'd get visual distortion--everything like I was looking through a fishbowl--and I'd have trouble remembering things and I'd feel kind of numb. After fighting my way through it a few times, it got better. Now, when I'm on stage, it's just like I am when I'm off--I'm concentrating but relaxed, I can look at everything like there is nothing special going on, make eye contact with the audience when appropriate, even advise the lighting crew about any irregularities I noticed in the illumination.
