- You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. - You should keep your breathing calm so you don't freak out, haha. If you're very terrified of needles, have one of your friends hold your hand while doing it and talk to them while doing this to keep your mind off of the piercing. It should be done very quickly though, so don't work yourself up too much :)

- Healing time is generally 6 months. It doesn't hurt to get it pierced but it's very sensitive after its pierced, DO NOT roll the bar around cuz you can damage the cartilage that way, and keep it super clean

- Depends on your pain tolerance, it's different for everyone. But generally cartilage piercings feel nothing like getting piercings stretched.
