Q: i have two holez i the bottom of my ear and now i wanna get something done to the top i want eather a scaffold or a cartlige and a tragus what do you guyz think: i have my tragus done and it didnt hurt at all, so i would reccomend doing the cartilage/tragus, but make sure, just like with any piercing, to keep it clean.

Would it be safer to have two helix done instead of putting the bar straight in and getting the actual piercing or should i get two helix and put a bar in once it has healed? i would ask the piercer to line the two up. ive heard that industrails go wrong alot if a bar is put right in.: When you do the two piercings separate and then put the bar in for healing, you have a chance of slight migration and when that happens, it's possible for the bar not to fit properly since industrials have to be at a perfect angle. I had a bar put in straight away and had no problem and I go to a really amazing piercer. Both ways have their cons, with a bar running through two piercings if one gets infected, the other is likely too as well. But if you take care of the piercing properly, that shouldn't be a problem.

Not everyone has enough room in their ear for a scaffolding or industrial piercing, so check with a piercer first. It's better to have two separate bars in while it's healing, because if you think about it, the long bar will make sleeping so uncomfortable and will put pressure on the piercings which will not allow it to heal to the best of your body's ability.

It does not specify using a personal fall arrest (harness, lanyard, etc.). Having a standard guard rail system around the exposed edges of the scaffolding (42 inch high, 21 inch mid-rail, plus toe board) will meet this requirement. The three main types of fall protection systems are guard rails, personal fall arrest systems, and safety nets.

Q: I'm 15 atm, I want either an industrial piercing now or a scaffold piercing that I can connect later. I may be getting a scaffold piercing instead, seeing as school regulations here probably won't allow a full industrial. Thanks in advance.: Very RARELY do piercings actually get infected. There's a host of different irritations and mishaps that can happen to your piercing that will cause redness and swelling and weeping, but they're not really infections. Keeping your piercing clean, and not wearing tight hats, headbands, or helmets, sleeping on your piercing, and just generally babying your piercing will keep it happy and devoid of irritation. As for being annoying, mine is fine, now, but it was kind of a pain when I first got it done. Granted, I got 10 gauge holes punched out of my ear, so my healing was a BIT more involved, but the typical timeframe for a cartilage piercing to heal is at least 6 months. I also got pierced on the side I sleep on, but getting one of those travel pillows works great for sleeping with healing cartilage piercings. Good luck!

Q: Hi im thinking of buying some Industrial Jewelry online but im not sure about the measurements. My recipt for my piercing says a 14g 1/4 barbell was used.: From what I see on the site, pick the 14GA 11/4 option since it's long enough to go through the top of your ear. Seems there was a little typo on the receipt your piercer gave you. The mm measurements next to each of the sizing options refer to the diameter of the balls on either side. Hope that helped!

The best way to make sure of this is to go to your body piercer and ask them to help you order a new bar. You can also just change the ends if you're looking for a new look. If you get the wrong length and shape, you can end up ruining your piercing. Bars that are the wrong size can put pressure on the piercings and cause them to migrate, deform, form keloids, or at the least be very sore. Just pop into your piercer and order the right thing! If you mean what would match to be worn with it, not in it then just about any body jewlery will look fine.
