But its SO sore and its quite red, and i was wondering whether i should pop it? do whatever to it? - I study Psychology but never heard of the term scaffolding. I know a scaffolding is a structure outside of a building used to clean windows and paint walls. But if you're not careful you will fall. So I guess if this is to apply to Psychology it must be an effect in that if one chooses things in life that are dangerous and not really thinking about the consequence of their actions, they are going to fall to their detriment. I guess!

- There is no way to know, everyone's ear is a different size so length of the bar is going to vary from person to person. Go to another piercer to have them fit jewelry to you.
- Q: i have two holez i the bottom of my ear and now i wanna get something done to the top i want eather a scaffold or a cartlige and a tragus what do you guyz think
- i have my tragus done and it didnt hurt at all, so i would reccomend doing the cartilage/tragus, but make sure, just like with any piercing, to keep it clean.
- Q: Okay, I'm wanting to get my scaffold pierced, I'm just curious on how much they hurt, and how much they cost. Another thing, how long is it before it heals?
- One thing you want to watch out for is that if you have it done too far down, it will make your ear stick out because the bar goes right over the part of your ear that protrudes. But really, especially if you have had other parts pierced, it's not bad at all. Alot of the time they even numb it for you! You can't sleep on it, you have to be careful with your hair, and you can't change the bar for awhile but other than that it is way worth it! There is minor swelling in the first few days and a little bit of bruising but the small discomfort is small price to pay, now it looks awesome and I'm glad!!

- It's not SUPER dangerous, but I wouldn't recommend getting them at the same time.
- Q: Everybody calls it either one, i want the one that goes across the top of your ear. Would it be safer to have two helix done instead of putting the bar straight in and getting the actual piercing or should i get two helix and put a bar in once it has healed? i would ask the piercer to line the two up. ive heard that industrails go wrong alot if a bar is put right in.
- As long as the bar's the correct length (long enough to accomodate a little bit of swelling, but not too long), and you have a good piercer, you shouldn't have a problem. Getting two and then changing to a bar later also costs twice as much money :P
- Q: I am doing a resource in class about the benefit of bamboo scaffolding and I can't find anything where in the us that it is used?
