Q:I've had my industrial piercing for about 6 months, about 2 months after I had it done I thought it was healed and stupidly changed the bar to a cheap on I bought off ebay. BIG mistake I know, it got infected and I was put on antibiotics. It's been healing well for about 3 months now, but how long roughly will it take to fully heal?: It really does depend on the person i've had mines since last year January and mines still didn't heal but that's because i changed my jewelry too quick but just have patience plus its a bar connected to 2 holes so yea its going to take some time especially if you hit mistakenly or if you wash your hair a lot like I do with shampoo but try to use h2ocean it makes your piercings heal faster

Q:Everybody calls it either one, i want the one that goes across the top of your ear. Would it be safer to have two helix done instead of putting the bar straight in and getting the actual piercing or should i get two helix and put a bar in once it has healed? i would ask the piercer to line the two up. ive heard that industrails go wrong alot if a bar is put right in.: A standard helix piercing isn't the same as they are on a scaffold. A helix goes front to back where as the scaffold goes through the curl in your ear. A good piercer will do this as 2 seperate piercings with small bars till it's healed. Then fit you with the bigger bar.

Q:Okay I have some questions:-When I get it done can I have- 2 labret retainers put in to hide them from my school?-If I can, how discreet are the retainers?-How long to heal? (Even though the piercer will tell me)-Have you got a picture of a scaffolding piercing with retainers? May I see it (:-And a basic clear cleaning regime?Thankyous (: x: Im pretty sure you can have retainers for your industrial piercing if you get it done buuuuut you wont be able to put them in for a couple months cause industrials take a long time to heal. And like the person said below it really depends on your skin tone and what color retainer you buy. You shouldnt have a problem with the industrial though cause people cant see mine if I have my hair down. They take up to 1 year to fully heal. You can swap your piercings out after 3 months but beware it can close up on you if you have difficulty putting it in. You HAVE to wait 3 months before you can put retainers in. Industrials are 14g piercings so make sure your retainers are the right gauge. Your ear will be sore for a long time dear. Mine didnt hurt while getting it pierced cause I have a high pain tolerance but my ear was sore and bruised afterwards. The healing process is very delicate and your ear will be sore for a couple months. Make sure you get the piercing on the ear you dont sleep on. I use a 50/50 solution of Betadine and distilled water. Other piercers have different cleaning regimes though, so listen to your piercer. I always clean it with warm water and use a Q-tip to clean around the piercing. Then I put the cleaning solution on and twist the piercing around GENTLY so the solution will go into the cartilege. I do this 3 times a day and i will do it for a month. Industrials are really delicate piercings so always keep it clean :)

It's the same with scaffolding for learning - once the child is strong enough in it's grasp of something, the props can be removed one at a time.

Q:im quite high up so would have to do the job internally (from the inside..avoiding climbing on roof). it seems that a material (looks like cement?) was used on this old roof (on the inside) and some of this has washed away as i can see daylight where the rain water is leaking through. there's also no black felt evident: You cannot repair any roof from the inside. Whoever did that internal patch was a hack.

Q:how much compensation can i get for falling of scaffolding and breaking my arm?: possibly none, if you were supposed to be wearing a safety harness and weren't.They could say it was your fault for not wearing the provided Equipment.

Q:Why do a mobile tower scaffolds have wheels fitted with brakes?: So it can be partially assembled, moved into position, then the brakes are put on so it doesn't move while it's in use.
