- Q: Pulling fire alarm during college finals exams
- Automotive windshield repair shops use this resin all the time, so that is the best place to start your search - ask for directions too, especially how to mold the resin edges. Their solutions almost flow on, so getting a matching edge to the rest of the tabletop will be the hardest part to do. You can use a dremel-style sander to grind the edges better once the resin has cured. Let the tool do the work for you - don't push too hard.
- Q: What is exactly one half a block from your front door?
- LOL I've done that before. I had it in my pocket and leaned over to grab my son and plop it went right in. All I did was let it air out for a while, like a day and it worked just fine. I hope you don't mind the urine smell lol It's better than landing in poop water at least!
- Q: What's the matter of producing resin crafts with holes in them?
- There are two ways to solve this problem:1, resin vacuum2, perfusion in a vacuum
- Q: can monitored alarms be circumvented, ive been looking on the net for a new new system for my business and monitored alarms keep poping up. after a bit of digging around the net ive read a few articles saying that they are a waste of money and there just a fad that everyone is raring on about and can easily be beaten.. hence a waste of my money. is it just better to opt for a local alarm.if they can be circumvented then how can one stop them, or is there a new type of alarm i shuld look for?thanks all.
- Would you let go of my Jack Daniel's so i can make me a drink.
- Q: So I asked about the death of chemistry sets hours ago and I'm here to ask again , is it legal to ship Thames and Kosmos CHEM C3000 and a Microscope along with the slides from California ( Bought from xUmp ) to the Philippines , would it get checked by U.S Customs and the Philippine Customs ? Actually its written for ages 12 and above , I'm 13 and people here ages 14 and 13 , Third Years perform chemistry and sometimes I watch them handle the instruments and the chemicals . I'm a total fanatic on science and been trying to get everything related to it . I know about Safety such as wearing gloves and safety glass and mask . Safe handling of hot and burning materials and I would never ever make something against the law with it . So the question is it internationally shippable , is it legal ? My Dad which I asked to buy it has been scolded by a science shop keeper saying he could be prosecuted for shipping it , is it true ? Thanks
- You are more likely to find resin at a sawmill. There are several items you can buy that has resin in it, but I don't know if you can buy just straight resin. But sawmills have it dripping everywhere. By the way, good luck on not getting caught building your bomb. You shouldn't ask people on the internet where to get bomb making products.
- Q: How do I clean soot from my fireplace bricks?
- 1. You subconsciously lock the door, and then you forget that you did later on. 2. Your husband is doing it. 3. Problems with the door.
- Q: When I was 12 my mother brother and I discovered a fire outside a building we saw a fire alarm how was it my mother asked me if I wanted to pull it as opposed to my brother or mother? We were in no real danger and at the time we had no cellphone. Furthermore how was it that my mother helped me to make sure that I pulled the alarm correctly? Was it normal to ask if I was doing this right? There was glass so my mother told me how to kick it. Was it normal for my mother to give me instructions so I wouldn't have a doubt on how to do it. She knew I was capable so was it normal to give me advice so I could do it as quick as possible. What do you think my brother was thinking when I was pulling the alarm. After the alarm was going off my mother said good job and hugged me. How did she let me do it when she could have done it herself? Was this because she trusted me and wanted me to feel like a hero? Please answer with honesty if it was your son would you do the same like my mother?
- Why? Is this even a serious question? I would rather live in a country where a government I voted into office runs my country than my country being in the HANDS of private corporations. A country should be run by its government, not by multinational conglomerates. A market should be controlled by the government, not by greedy megacorps and stock brokers driving the economy up and down on their whim. Yes a government isn't perfect, yes there are corrupt, lying politicians, but do you even know how much worse private firms are? You have ZERO influence there, they bring their own higher ups into power and dont give a flying f*** about the people. At least the government tries to take care of its people because it wants to be elected again.
- Q: I was walking down the street one day, and a jogger passed me. I was curious to know whether I could figure out how fast the jogger was running, so I started paying attention to where the jogger was. When she passed a light pole a little ways in front of me, I began to count the seconds. It took me 9 seconds to get to the pole. When i reached the pole, I looked up to see that she was just passing a fire hydrant. I again counted the seconds until I reached the fire hydrant, and it took 11 seconds when I reached the fire hydrant, she was passing a parking meter. It took me 14 seconds to reach the parking meter. I knew that I walked two paces in 1 second and my pace was 1 yard long. Approximately how fast, in miles per hour, was the jogger moving?
- yea dude, the resin will still get you blown. theyre gonna be testing the thc in your system and resin is almost like straight up thc. better to be safe than sorry dude
- Q: I have a 1/2 cold water copper pipe leaking in unfinished part of basement-it is hard to fix as there is a 3/4 hot water pipe crossing under the leakwhich I think caused some of the problem. My son (I am 69 yr. female) is coming next weekend and will replace it. Until then he told me to cut garden hose and fix it-that worked with clampsslight dripbut last night it stopped working. The only hole I can see in the pipe is a small one on the bottom of horizontal pipeI think it started leaking again because hot water pipe caused the area around hole to give. I also had to wrap the top and bottom of pipe with hose to stop leakingjust the bottom didn't work. I am afraid to use epoxy as it will adhere to the pipe below it. Last night I bought a repair clamp with rubber gasket-it didn't work at allI am not surebut water seems to go up the sides of rubber and drip from the top. Any ideas would be great as I have to keep turning water to house off and on.
- You can also use low melting point metals such as Wood's Metal or Field's Metal to do fixtureing. Some melt at below 70 deg C and all you need is a jig with a cavity filled with the metal. Heat the jig, place part into molten metal and wait for it to solidify machine part and heat it again to remove part. Waxes are useful and used in gemstone work, they are conveniently heat reversible and many different grades of waxes are available. Bitumen/tar mixtures are used by lens grinders to mount glass while grinding and polishing. Many epoxies and resins have a weakness for some or other solvent, check the incompatibility lists. The strong solvents are often not so nice to humans though like Methylene Chloride and Trichloro Ethylene so you need to establish suitable handling protocols. Acetone is reasonably safe but not as active, any solvent takes time to breakdown good quality epoxies and resins. Expanding construction foam (and the two part stuff used for filling fibreglass surf boards) may be strong enough if they are used in a small gap. Powdered Polystyrene is melted to mount metal specimens for cutting, grinding and polishing for metallographic work (microphotography and spark spectroscopy) but the specimens are generally not expected to be removed though you could usually melt the plastic off carefully. Perhaps not suitable for your application Using a compressible solid like Masonite/hardboard or rubber to clamp the part may be an option even if you use a new piece each time you clamp it assuming the clamping forces are not too strong. Magnetic chucks are popular for ferrous metals and vacuum chucks for flat surfaced parts, surprising holding forces are possible.
- Q: I haven't really played on a team sport outside of gym class before, (only baseball when i was 12 - which i didn't like)Any ideas.Yes or No and Why! What exact equipment is needed. and any tips on brands or tips on what things to look for? Also, I'm male, and sadly only 5'8 and 125 pounds.. but I'm fast. What position do you think would be best? Mid Field?oh and it would be indoor (BOX) house-league. What equipment should i get?Thank you!
- there are two types of resin epoxy and polyester resin. the polyester resin is much cheaper and easier to work with you can buy buckets of it, and it is what most surfboards are made out of, all you do it pour as much as you need into a tub and add a few drops of catalyst to make it cure then use it. the epoxy resin is used in pro model boards and also f-one racing cars ect. it is usually used with carbon fiber, it is much more expensive and is a little harder to mix and get right. almost any marine store will sell the polyester resin, your better off buying a big tub of it, as making surfboards is fun and may become a new hobbie.
