Q:carbon, silicon, iron, kyrpton, chlorine, plutonium, lead, and silveryou dont have to do all of them.i just cant find them.
Carbon can be found as a diamond or graphiteIt can form a variety of bonds with other elementsCarbon is a major component in organic chemistry (living organisms)It also forms fuels such as hydrocarbon gases and charcoalSilicon is a grey crystal which has luster and is brittleIt is the second most abundant element on Earth and is used in cement, glass, concrete, computer chips, and explosivesIron is an abundant metal which is rarely found in its pure stateIt is used for automobiles, buildings, and shipsIron is also the main component in steelKrypton is a green and orange gasWhen in solid form it is a white crystalIt is used in photography, lights, and nuclear fusion researchChlorine is a poisonous pale green gasIt generally forms bonds with all other elementsIt is used for making plastics, solvents for dry cleaning and metal degreasing, textiles, agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals, insecticides, dyestuffsPlutonium is a silvery, radioactive, toxic metalIt is used in nuclear weapons and powering pacemakersLead is a heavy, soft, toxic metal which has a ton of usesIt is used in shielding from radiation, ammunition, scuba diving weights, ceramic glazes, batteries, stained glass, ballast, and lead glassSilver is a shiny, ductile, malleable metalIt has high thermal conductivity and is very whiteIt is not very reactive and is used as a precious metalIt has been used for money, medical, food, and clothing.
Q:I pureed an item that is high in fiberdoes that remove any of the nutritional fiber qualities?
1There is no need to include III 2 The first letter of an element symbol is capitalizedAlso, the formula is Al2O3 3Two errors, should be NH4Cl 4Lead does not have a +3 oxidation state 5Leadic is incorrect; should be plumbic 6Stannous is the +2 state, the II is unnecessary7Mono as a prefix is unnecessary 8Should be KClO2 (brackets are not needed for the cation group ClO2 with a single anion) Also, I don't think this is a real compoundKClO3 is 9The anion (Al) goes first 10No such compound 11See 4 12chloride is not spelled right 13See 6 14No such item 15No such compound16Ferric is the correct term with iron 17No such compound18No such compound 19(I) after sodium is not needed 20Usually, a compound is named with the anion as a singular itemSo this should be titanium dioxide21This is water22Since the oxidation state of magnesium is +2, the di in front of the hydroxide is not needed23Cuprous implies the +1 oxidation state, so the (I) is not needed24See 22 25The anion is always first Don't forget about the elements having the first letter capitalized Good luck
Q:i heard my relative comment that it is bad for your eyesis this true?
Eat high-fiber foods such as cereals, whole-grain breads, and fresh fruits and vegetables every dayAdd a couple of tablespoons of unprocessed wheat bran (available at health food stores) to your cereal in the morning and follow it with a glass of water Drink plenty of water — at least six to eight glasses a dayA glass of fruit juice every day, especially prune juice, can also be helpful Exercise regularlyWalking, swimming, riding on a stationary bike, and yoga can all help ease constipation and leave you feeling more fit and healthy Listen to your bodyNever put off going to the bathroom when you feel the urge Ask your health care provider about taking an over-the-counter fiber supplement or switching to an iron supplement.
Q:I'm not a full-time smoker or drug user. But 3 days ago I did smoke marijuana to calm myself down and I do not smoke on a regular basis, I smoke maybe twice a year and I was really feeling the need to calm down. Now I have a job interview coming up and a drug test and I do not want to flush it out of my system with a bunch of pills that will kill me.On a daily basis I just started taking cranberry pills, Airborne and Fish Oil and I just added Niacin because I heard that helps but I am not over doing it on the Niacin because sometimes it can be a downer so I only take one pill a day with the others.I also drink a lot of water, milk and Gatorade. Also I am overweight but I have a decent Metabolism, no high blood pressure or anything else.
The school of choice matters not to the JudgeYou need a lawyer He should be able to get you a diversion- no recordFuture criminal record checks will be clear unless applying for the Military or a law Enforcement job First offenders have the opportunity to have no misdemeanor record if they satisfy all terms of diversion, which is an alternative sentenceProbation (It can include fines, alcohol education, random testing, community service etc) is givenAll court proceedings are deferred or diverted until completion of probationOnce probation is completed and all of the terms of probation are successfully met, the case will be discharged and dismissedYou will have no arrest record to report on school loans or housing applications, and most importantly employment forms.
Q:A synthetic sleeping bag is required for trekking to Costa Rica because of the high humidityso I was toldThe sleeping bag I have at the moment has mono fiberIs that synthetic?
Authority Oven baked, Nature's Recipe and Bil Jac are three brands that are easily available and have healthy fiber though I personally would not feed my dog Bil JacAuthority Oven baked has cranberry for urinary tract, tomato pumice for the heart, carrots and broccoli, real meat not meal, no fillers, no sprayed on fats no artificial coloring or dyes, no fillersOven baked so it's easier to digest, not a hard kibbleAvailable at PetSmart stores and reasonably priced.
Q:I want to make a modified rocket stove to generate some electricity using a thermoelectric generatorActually, first I'll try some experiments with homemade thermocouples such as copper and stainless steel wires and copper oxide and copper oxide wires.I want to create a hot enough flame with as little amount of fuel as possibleI want to use sticks, charcoal, candles or an oil lamp as the fuel heat source.Anyway, I need a good insulator to wrap the rocket stove in order to keep as much of the heat contained as possible. What can I use to insulate this project? I'm thinking about using water to cool the thermocouples at one end, so I don't want a very thick heat barrier.Would a high temperature welding blanket work? Is there anything else suitable? Thanks!
Inside cover with fire bricks.outside cover thick fiber glass.
Q:My cat sucks on blankets.we have given him his own blanket so we are not sleeping in wet sheets.but if i wash his blanket will he still want it? and does anyone know how to stop this behavior?
my cat does this tooevery time i try to go to sleep, she jumps into bed and starts sucking on the blanket, it's so annoying! she does it to everything though, even after it's been washedso now, when she starts doing it, i tap her on the head or just put my hand between her mouth and the blanket so she can't do itit's worked pretty well, now after a couple minutes of trying she just gives up and goes to sleepgood luck!
Q:Is there a certain temperature when you should have a blanket on?We live in Va, if that helps.
four states truck wreckers in just outside joplinThey have new used stuffEverythingi've used them beforei live in CanadaEbay as well if they are hard to find elsewhere.
Q:I'm finishing my basement and have started insulating framed walls with Kraft-faced fiberglass insulationFor smaller stud spacings, I'm slicing the insulation lengthwiseThis leaves me with a flange on one side and none on the other.I have a building permit for this, and the inspector is a sticklerAny reason he might object to me duct taping the flangeless edges to the adjacent framing member? Other suggestions welcome as well.
Kool-aid won't work with cottons, it only works with animal-fiber yarnsI always use just regular old Rit dye with cottons, it works fine.
