Q: I just wanna know how much sea duty will they get and how much shore duty will they get? Is there a possibilty that they can get more shore duty? And yes i know i know when you are in the navy you're going to be on the sea thank you i heard that so many times lol!!!! But any answers will be great!!Thank you all and god bless
First of all, a Machinery Repairman in the Navy does not repair machines. You will make parts for machinery? An MR in the Navy is a Machinist. You will be operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses and engraving machines. An MR has an average sea/shore rotation of 3.5 years sea to 3.5 years of shore. However, this changes according to your rank. I was an MR for 21 years. I spent half my time assigned to a ship. I rotated to shore about every 4 years. Every ship has at least one MR depending on the type of ship. Destroyers and cruisers have one but possibly 2 MR's. Carriers have about 10 MR's. Repair ships (only 2 left in the Navy) have around 30 -50 MR's. MR's may also have collateral duties in damage control or stand watches in engineering spaces.
Q: Just to find out what it did. Or a good estimate?
i did once. and somebody got hurt.
Q: Plural form of machine is machines or machinery?
Machines. Machinery is parts of the machine.
Q: Or do I have to claim my business as a medium size cooperation?
No, but many employers wait till the day before payday to report them, or so I heard. Two free weeks of work and the old, Gee, I didn't realize...
Q: What would happen if machinery is sold for less than book value?
You record a loss: Say you sell PPE for $5 but book value is $13 (say you bought it for $20 and have accumulated depreciation of $7). You would record: Cash $5 Acc Dep $7 ______Loss on Sale of PPE $8 ______PPE $20 This loss decreases your net income and also shows up as an add-back in your statement of cash flows from operations.
Q: what do companies benefit from when upgrading machinery?
Depends what you mean by upgrading. A business can upgrade existing machinery to perform faster, better, etc or they can purchase a new machine to replace an older one. With upgrading the business is looking at increasing output, reducing operating costs and improving the efficiency of the machine. A new machine will potentially return less downtime due to breakdowns, but may have teething troubles whilst it settles in. New machinery will have costs involved, not only the purchase cost, but cost of spares, cost of training to operate and maintain, and depreciation. Hope this helps
Q: i want to know about machinery manufacturer for essence & perfums making small plant?
Huh?
Q: Hello, our family business is rather kind of in need, to start producing our cake mixes in larger quantities.I ahve not been able to find a manufacturer that sells this amchinery. Please ask any further questions.God Bless
