Q:How do cranes get put together?
Hey Sir Fing, While watching a skyscraper being built here in San Diego, I asked the same question. For the tallest buildings, it is built in to the building and when they are finished, the top portion is lowered down. For a smaller building, it is assembled and hoisted by... A larger crane! Interesting, isn't it? Great question! James in San Diego
Q:is the elevation of the upper surface of the tower crane foundation flat with the elevation of the bottom of the new building? Or lower than the trough bottom elevation? ThirtyI think this is better. Please specify which specification has the relevant regulations. Which page is it? Thank you very much!
When the tower crane is installed in the fertilizer tank, is the elevation of the upper surface of the tower crane foundation flat with the elevation of the bottom of the new building? Or lower than the trough mark
Q:What are the conditions of tower cranes, strictly prohibited?
A. Products obsolete by the stateB, over the specified service life, failed to assess the quality of the productC, products that do not conform to national or trade standardsD, products without complete security technical records
Q:A crew built this huge crane to build an office building next to my house.... There is a huge flag hanging from the top of it.... Why does the construction company do this???
Crane Flags
Q:Crane lifts a 600-kg bin with an initial acceleration of 2 m/s^2. Determine the force in each of the supporting cables due to this motion.?
F = ma Assume the crate is uniformly loaded, both cables will carry the same force F(AB)(4/5) = (600/2)(9.8 + 2) F(AB)(4/5) = 3540 F(AB) = 4425 N F(BC) = 4425 N F(B-Crane) = 600(9.8 + 2) F(B-Crane) = 7080 N As a form of exchange, please remember to vote a Best Answer from among your results. This is not the same as like or thumbs up which are also nice and do boost points, but only after asker awards initial points with their vote.
Q:vehicle's like car's,truck's etc.need's paper's or document's for regestration or license to used it.what if i mounted or install a crane on it,do i need some paper's or document for regestration or license for the crane?
I am not sure, but you probably do not need one for a crane perse. Although if you do that, you are basically modifying your current vehicle and you may need documentation for that. To be sure, ask the Land Transportation Office. or visit their site: www.lto .ph/
Q:How the cranes can stand without any tipping with huge counter weights on its back? If there is no suspended load also the crane is is still stable with huge counter weights on its back. How it can possible? Why crane is not offballencing while we adding extra counter weights on it without any suspended load?
Usually the counterweights can move back and forth on an arm. They are moved toward the crane when there is no load and away from the crane when there is a load. If the counterweights can't move, then the crane must be designed to hold (at least) the minimum counterweights in their fixed location. As the crane gets loaded, the net moment decreases, and then increases in the other direction as more and more load gets added. It is still likely that the maximum design moment when loaded far exceeds the moment due to the counterweights on an unloaded crane.
Q:i need the story cranes by hwang sun won and translated by peter h. lee and i cant find it on google. help i need the story for my essay
EEK! I just did a search under Hwang Sun Won. It appears that Cranes is a series of short stories. Is that what you meant? If it is one particular short story called Cranes, I can't find it. I would suggest you go to your teacher/professor and ask where to obtain a copy. If you can't ask your teacher, run, do not walk! to your nearest library and throw yourself on the mercy of the librarians! Another search option for you is to look for books by Peter H. Lee, specifically the ones he has edited. He has written several anthologies. Good luck!
Q:is this a grey crowned crane?
yes the bird is a grey crown crane...as you can see it has a red spot on the neck...and a large hairy looking crown...it also has a white skin cheek patch.
Q:Hey,My grandma has a big country estate with a river and its her birthday coming up. She's indicated she might like another peacock (we've had them before), but I'm thinking of branching out into other birds. We tried Lady Amerhursts pheasants, but one of the dogs knocked over their cage before they were properly acclimatised and they disappeared. So, does anyone know if its possible to get storks or cranes or other big waterbirds to keep as domestics? They'd be free ranging on the estate and the river, so need to be smart about foxes and mink (ie roost in trees or go into a house). We've kept geese and ducks successfully on our river like this, so does anyone have any ideas?Or should we try again with pretty pheasants?
Depends on where you live ? Stick to Ornamental Pheasants or Ducks,Storks and Cranes, need to be penned in at night because you will have to pinion them to prevent them flying. Try some Golden Pheasants for a try ,Lady Amherst are becoming a rare commodity and are quite expensive,if you have Foxes and Mink, then no matter what you get you will have problems these two predators.
