Q: I recently bought a '95 C220, shes my first MB and after a week of driving I have vowed to never buy any other brand of car. I think i've just about figured out all of her idiosyncricies, however this one still confuses me. There is a small 1/4 diameter or so plastic tube comming out of the floor to the left the battery/fuse box in the trunk, about 8 inches long or so. It has an L connector on the end, but it is not fastened to anything, nor can i find anything that it could fasten to. Any clues anyone? Vaccume tube for some component that was never installed?
Most of these folks a correct its a vent tube. The stock battery has a hole on the side to vent gasses out . Most aftermarket batteries do not have a vent or its in the wrong place. Look for a Deka battery they fit perfect and have the vent. (also Car Quest sells the same battery different label) By venting the gas out it helps reduce the corrosion. The OE battery is VARDA, but the DEKA or CARQUEST brand is a better made battery.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for underground applications?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for underground applications. Plastic tubes are commonly used for various underground applications such as water supply, drainage systems, and underground wiring. They are preferred for their durability, resistance to corrosion, and ease of installation.
Q: My two young female gerbils are chewing on the CritterTrail plastic tubes I have connected to the cages. They have tons of chew toys, food, and space. I've placed two toilet paper holders in their large nest area. It's helped a little, but they still chew on the plastic tubes. Which is VERY noisy, and I don't think chewing on plastic is good for them compared to natural wood.
You would just be better off getting a 20 gallon long tank or a bin cage. The cage you have now is too small and it would be hard to safely connect it to a tank.
Q: I've heard that women kind of envy fact that men can pee standing up BUT couldn't you women just achieve the same using a plastic small tube? Then, why not do it?

Q: What is the maximum load plastic tubes can bear?
The maximum load that plastic tubes can bear varies depending on the type of plastic used, the dimensions of the tube, and the specific application. It is generally recommended to consult the manufacturer's specifications or conduct load testing to determine the maximum load capacity of plastic tubes for a particular situation.
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to static electricity?
Plastic tubes are generally not resistant to static electricity, as they are insulators that do not conduct electricity.
Q: Is the PVC tube a plastic tube or a plastic tube?
PVC is a VCM monomer (vinyl, chloride, monomer), in the peroxide, azo compounds and other initiators; or under the action of light and heat, polymerization by the principle of free radical polymerization of polymers.
Q: What is the difference between rigid and flexible plastic tubes?
The main difference between rigid and flexible plastic tubes lies in their physical properties. Rigid plastic tubes are firm and inflexible, maintaining their shape even when pressure is applied. They are commonly used for applications where stability and strength are crucial. On the other hand, flexible plastic tubes are pliable and can be bent or twisted without breaking. They are often used in situations where versatility and ease of handling are important, such as in medical tubing or for routing wires in electronics.
