Q: I recently bought a '95 C220, shes my first MB and after a week of driving I have vowed to never buy any other brand of car. I think i've just about figured out all of her idiosyncricies, however this one still confuses me. Most aftermarket batteries do not have a vent or its in the wrong place. Look for a Deka battery they fit perfect and have the vent. (also Car Quest sells the same battery different label) By venting the gas out it helps reduce the corrosion. The OE battery is VARDA, but the DEKA or CARQUEST brand is a better made battery.
