- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for electrical wiring protection?
- Yes, plastic tubes, such as PVC or polyethylene, are commonly used for electrical wiring protection. These tubes provide insulation and protection against moisture, chemicals, and other external factors that could potentially damage the wiring. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to install, making them a suitable choice for various electrical applications.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing pet products or treats?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing pet products or treats. They provide a convenient and hygienic way to store and dispense pet items, ensuring they remain fresh and protected from contaminants.
- Q: Do plastic tubes have any limitations in terms of temperature resistance?
- Yes, plastic tubes do have limitations in terms of temperature resistance. While some types of plastic tubes can withstand high temperatures, such as those made from materials like polyimide or PTFE, most plastics have a limited range of temperature resistance. Exposing plastic tubes to temperatures beyond their specified limits can cause them to deform, melt, or become brittle, compromising their structural integrity and functionality. It is important to consider the intended application and select a plastic tube material that can withstand the expected temperature conditions.
- Q: Are plastic tubes tamper-evident?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be designed to be tamper-evident by incorporating features such as shrink bands, breakable seals, or tear-off caps that indicate if the tube has been opened or tampered with.
- Q: he is 2yrs old he has outgrown his cage, i see people on youtube put there snakes in plastic tubes from like walmart will that be ok? will he be comfortable in that?
- Perfectly fine, i don;t breed and house my snakes in tubs, not only for space but because it makes everyday husbandry needs a breeze, holding in humidity, keeping a proper gradient and not to mention the height is low so it kind of mimic a constant rodent burrow which is where your ball python will be most of the day in the wild. I have never had a problem with humidity or keeping a proper heat gradient in a tub,but on the other hand everyday people post questions and battle with keeping humidity up in screen top tanks. Tubs are not the prettiest things to look at but they get the job done, and even so if you wanted more of a display animal you should of went with a different snake, ball pythons are not the best display reptiles, they hide most of the day. When you add it all up,the pros on the tuns outweigh the pros on the tank by far,ask any person who actually owns a snake there opinion on this you'll see. And if you need pictures of my tub set up feel free to just ask and i'll gladly send you or post some for you. Good luck!
- Q: Would exsanguination happen? Say the plastic tube is inserted and then left ignored. Blood flows out through the tube.Would the blood clot in the tube? Would the vein involved constrict and cut off flow? Would the patient die?
- It'll make a mess on the floor, but you wouldn't bleed to death.
- Q: If I have a 2lb spool of 1.75mm ABS filament, how many 5.25 inch x 2.25 inch (both dimensions are diameters) hollow cylinders with 3 mm thick walls could i print with one spool?
- First determine the volume of filament you have: density of ABS =~0.038 lb/in^3 2lb / .038 = 52.6in^3 of material Second, determine the volume of each tube: inner diameter of tube = 5.25in-3mm=5.132in (both of your dimensions cannot be diameters, so I assumed the second was the height, if it's a tubular cone then the height is missing) volume of each tube: = 2.165in^3 per online calculator below. You could double check by calculating the volume of cylinders with the outer and inner diameters separately and then subtracting the results. 52.6 / 2.165=24.3 so you could print approximately 24 tubes
- Q: Gravity head available = 80` -- Please advise.
- The frequency at which guys and ladies dossier for divorce (within the US no less than) is approximately 50/50 with guys taking a moderate majority. It will depend on age. Many younger ladies that marry as teenage's or in early twenties, get divorced. If ladies weren't allowed to divorce, there might simply be plenty extra guys submitting for divorce than there already are. Or abusive relationships without a finish. Some folks must not ever marry.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for geothermal heating systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for geothermal heating systems. Plastic tubes, typically made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are commonly used for the underground piping in geothermal systems. These tubes are durable, corrosion-resistant, and have good thermal conductivity, making them suitable for efficiently transferring heat between the ground and the heating system.
- Q: how long will cigars keep in tubes?
- Cigars are hydroscopic, that means they tend to match the relative humidity of the enviornment in which they are kept. A tubed cigar in a tube that is hermetically sealed outside of a humidor will keep for 3 - 6 months. After that, even the best seal will begin to fail. In a humidor, a tubed cigar hermetically sealed will keep nearly indefinately. In a plastic tube, you may as well not even have the tube.
