- Q: WHY DO THE VIRUSES USE THE CELL MACHINERY OF A LIVING CELL TO MULTIPLY?
- They do this because they have no reproductive cell machinery of their own to do this. This is why they are debated as being non living entities. Their DNA or RNA (never both) is programmed to hijack the hosts DNA to make more viruses
- Q: What subjects are specialized in mechanical manufacturing in secondary schools?
- We already have: Metalworking Training, mechanical design, basic curriculum design, training, fitter training, CNC machining training, "machinery manufacturing foundation", "now control technology"
- Q: Okay, so I'm looking through my bio textbook (not ap) and I come across this graphic about the HIV virus. There's a strip of text that talks about how the virus replicates itself:HIV is equipped with the enzyme reverse transcriptase.........Using the cell's **gene translation machinery**, this DNA then directs the production of thousands of viruses. The thing inside the **s . What is it? Cells don't have machinery! Why does the book call it translation machinery?
- It's talking about the complement of proteins used to copy the DNA and produce new viruses that are hijacked by the virus. Proteins are like little machines. They're the molecules that do everything in the cell.
- Q: but has a heavy ball on the hook and is used to knock buildings or other structures down? My little boy wants to know its name.... thank you!10 points for the fastest and true answer.thanks
- Well you pick up the phone and dial the phone number for a crane with a wrecking ball on the end of it seriouslly I don't think they have a name other than the wrecking crane and that's nothing more than a crane with a wrecking ball hope this helps your little one
- Q: Must be in machinery.
- Produces heat. Wears components out.
- Q: i need this answer its urgent
- You over-constrained the problem. Why take it from earth at all? A recent probe has found that there is plenty of water ice inches under the surface of the polar regions. Drill a well, set off an explosion at the bottom to fracture the rocks, lower an electric heater, and pump out the water. In addition to providing drinking water, it can be electrolysized to make hydrogen and oxygen for rocket fuel. This can all be done with robotics and stockpiled for future human visitors.
- Q: how have you seen the heavy machinery industry change over the last years, and how do you think it'll change in the next 10 years?, specifically with respect to concrete mixers and asphalt production. in U.S. and other countries.
- I just got out of that line of work... grade construction, actually. The biggest thing I've noticed... you remember all the immigrants who came over here and started work as laborers or doing the dirty work? Well those guys pretty much run all the machines now. I'm not trying to sound racist, but the problem there is that they're willing to work for far less money than a lifelong U.S. citizen. That makes companies not want to hire as many of us. Why would they? They're saving money.
- Q: I'm talking about both commercial farms and subsistence farms. When I say mechanization, I'm referring to tractors, harvesters, threshers etc
- I find tractors a big help to carry heavy loads plough the fields cut the hay and carry big bales of hay/straw..so thats an advantage farm machinery make farming a bit easier and you are able to do work quicker (i.e harvesting) and with out the need of to many labourers and less physical strain... disadvantage: they can be dangerous if not used/handled properly they can be expensive to buy compare to employing workers need fuel and maintenence which can be expensive they are not environmentally friendly
- Q: what do you think?
- Are you really asking this question. Thats stupid. If your trying to kill yourself, or others. But no you shouldn't.
- Q: these machines all weigh in the hundreds and are up to my waistthere used but in good conditionthey are:JOINT PLANER(oh and is there a better name for this one?)TABLE SAWSURFACE PLANERi want to know how much these items would cost?im trying to sell them but not sure what the prices should beim planning to put em on ebay and would appreciate your helpthank you!
- If they are in fair condition, try selling them locally first. A craftsperson would be happy to give em a new home.
