- As it was pointed out, copyright protection of the images almost certainly wouldn't apply. With the exception of estates, or other artificial entities existing through time that can identify their interest in the copyright, the copyright died with the photographer in all probability. Copyright protection exist for the life of the creator plus some number of years and that is only important if there is some form of inheritor. How would a judge rule? If litigated, the judge would rule according to how the law applied to the particulars of the case. That is the only thing they can do. Any speculation would mean postulating hypothetical facts and then having fun! Just as a person, I feel they should be able to copy the photos. As a photographer, I am very jealous of my copyrights and have turned down jobs where we couldn't come to an agreement on that. There are certain copyrights, such as the right to use the images for my own promotion, exhibition and otherwise help me in business. However, I don' t see a rational basis for preventing the copying of the photos no matter how I look at it - except for Walmart. Walmart doesn't want to get sued and, rationally, limits their exposure. The easy way to do that is have a blanket policy that may be ridiculus about proving you have the right to make copies, as it seems ridiculus here, but there is very little cost to them to either lose that customer, or not making the prints. The costs to handle even a very misguided lawsuit that will get tossed immediately make a cost/benefit analysis simple. - Q:I have speed queen commercial washers and the pressure sensing system becomes compromised by soap build up in the tubes that lead to the pressure switches. I have removed and manually cleaned each tube. Does anyone have experience with a chemical I can run through a wash that will disolve the continual build up and that chemical will not do damage to the rubber/plastic tubing?
- Soaps are soluble in mildy basic solutions, like ammonia. You might try that. Of course, if you're getting a build-up, it may mean your water is running high on calcium magnesium ions (i.e., it's 'hard'). In that case, water softeners may be your best best.
- Q:I need it for a science experiment.It has to be thin and bendy/flexible, and not that long.Don't get confused with PVC piping, that's like 10 feet long, what I need is basically the same length as a straw, except it has to be bendy all the way.Regular straws don't work because I need to bend it 3 times, and still have the air flow through, but when i bend it, it's really tight and doesn't work.I need something like those plastic straws on juice bottles that can bend where the drinking part is, except something like that all the way through.If anybody could tell me where to get it (I only need one but will buy it in packages if the price is not too large) , or link me the website of the product, it would be greatly appreciated. - Q:My 2000 ford focus broke down last week and me and a family friend determined its the fuel pump so as we were replacing it we noticed the nozzle hooking into the top of the fuel pump was snapped it is connected to a hard plastic tube and I need to know either what the tube is called or what the nozzle is called PLEASE HELP!!!
- you should have 2 lines to the pump. a supply to the fuel system and a return back to the tank. the red clip is the supply fitting, id believe.
