- Q:I need a smooth tubing or piping that can be easily bent. i dont care really what its made of, plastic or whatever, just as long as it can be about 3-5 inches in diameter and is very bendy (also possibly easily to cut). All i need is the name of the pipe and maybe a website that carries it... thanx.
- tricky stuff. do a search at yahoo or google. just that can help!
- Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for pneumatic conveying systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for pneumatic conveying systems. They offer several advantages such as being lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install. Plastic tubes also have good flexibility, allowing them to navigate bends and curves more easily. Additionally, they are cost-effective and can handle a wide range of materials, making them a popular choice for pneumatic conveying applications.
- Q:My 99 Ford Escort has been making sloshy water sounds and whistling sounds on the passenger side of the car when I run the A/C. I have also noticed that the floor is damp on the passenger side only. If I look up under and behind the glove compartment there is a black plastic box that is covered with condensation within a few minutes of running the a/c. Based on what I've read, this problem is probably a blocked drain rather than the heater core (I live in Florida and haven't touched my heater in 6 months :P). Can anyone confirm? The noise has also been getting worse, I noticed the damp floor a week or two ago, but the water noises have only kicked up the past 2 days. Will running the a/c without fixing it permanently damage anything? If I can't locate the drain to unblock and have to take it into the mechanic, how much would I be looking at? Thanks!
- You are probably correct about the a/c drain tube. If it were the heater core, there would be a coolant smell and your coolant level would drop and by now the engine would be getting hot. It shouldn't cost that much to have someone open the drain tube, but you should be able to do it yourself. Look in the engine compartment on the firewall at approximately the center of the car just a little toward the passenger side of center. There should be a black rubber or plastic tube protruding and pointing down or down and back. You may need a piece of wire to snake up the tube to loosen whatever is clogging it. Be careful with the wire and don't just shove it all up in there. Just through the tube is far enough
- Q:Can plastic tubes be used for electrical insulation?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for electrical insulation.
- Q:How do you store plastic tubes?
- Plastic tubes can be stored in a variety of ways depending on their size and purpose. One common method is to stack them vertically in a designated storage container or rack, ensuring they are stable and won't roll or fall over. Alternatively, smaller plastic tubes can be stored in bins or drawers, organized by size or type. It is important to keep them in a dry and cool area, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, to maintain their quality and prevent any warping or damage.
- Q:Our Kenmore washing machine #110.2970091 recently started leaking water from underneath. When we looked, there was a clear plastic bag/tube attached to a hole on the side of the tub that was leaking. The tube was taped up at the bottom and doesn't look like it's supposed to be there, the water in it looked like it was there awhile. We bought this used so it doesn't have a manual or warranty. If it is an overflow pipe, where is the excess water supposed to go? We have it hooked up to the laundry sink. Thanks
- first element i could do is examine and make useful the drain hose is inserted perfect. whether this is, and you nonetheless have overflow, you ought to have some blockage interior the drain that became no longer observed including your previous washer by using fact it did no longer pump water into the drain as rapid. in case you're mushy doing so, attempt and sparkling the blockage. in case you haven't any longer any thought the thank you to accomplish that, call a plumber.
- Q:My model rocket's (currently being built) body tube has a slight issue.First, this is how im making it.Taking a plastic tube, I wrap a piece of construction paper around it, and glue it. (not to the tube, but to itself so I can slide out the tube, and have a cylindrical paper mold.) Next, I take a special type of paper with water-activated adhesive on one side, and wrap it around the construction paper. However, now that everythings dry, I find that upon gluing the construction paper, I also glued it to the tube. Now the plastic tube is stuck within. How can I get it out without tearing my outer shell?Im guessing with heat/cold, but Im not sure.
- I appreciate your effort - it's cool that your're making your material from scratch. I don't know if your tube can be salvaged, but next time, wrap the plastic cylinder with one wrap of waxed paper (like Cut-Rite, available in most grocery stores) before wrapping your adhesive paper around. Then it should slip off the plastic mold and you can pull the waxed paper out of the center of the newly-formed paper tube.
- Q:What is a paintball power tube used for?Im looking into an tippmann A5 power tube Delrin Front Bolt. Whats the difference and benefits. Thanks
- The power tube is the part that holds the valve in the marker and helps direct air flow. Getting a new power tube will do NOTHING to performance. It has no performance valve what so ever. The front bolt is the part that helps push the ball out or the chamber. And getting a new one will help very very lil. So lil that it doesn't really matter. THis is because the stock front bolt on the tippmann markers is made so well that changing it doesn't make it any better because they will perform just about the same. Replacing the stock power tube to a full aluminum power tube is a good idea because after a while the stock plastic power tube does tend to break and when that happens it will cause air or co2 to leak. The aluminum one wont do that and lasts a lot longer.
- Q:Can plastic tubes be used for cold-fill applications?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for cold-fill applications.
- Q:the gun works great...until i go to elevate the last shell into the chamber, the plastic cup that seats against the crimps of the shell sticks just enough into the tube to not fully push the shell out and onto the elevator, the spring feels a bit week also, are these springs known for wearing out and are they replaceable? looks like the shell tube has large threads that screw into the receiver but ill be damned if i cant get that thing to twist and unscrew!
- The tube will unscrew, but not easily the first time it comes off. When the mag springs in our department Mossbergs get tired, we replace them with Remington 870 mag springs and they seem to hold up better. Field strip the shotgun. Put the end of the mag tube in a vise and clamp down ONLY on the little rectangle on the end of the tube (NEVER on the tube itself). Insert the wooden handle.of your hammer into the receiver as close to the barrel mount as you can. Evenly as possible rotate counterclockwise. Remember, it's not going to come off easily. When it lets go, remove the tube, the follower and the spring. Do not try to just stretch out the spring a little. It won't work. Replace the spring and put the follower back in. put the tube back on the receiver. I find it easier to push the follower into the tube a little until you get the threads started. be careful not to crossthread. tighten it up the same way you took it off.
