Q:I don't think it's a problem, but she's worried it's going to cause some sort of problem. We live in an apartment, so we're on a sewage system. The tube was a little bigger than a SMALL toothpaste tube. Maybe two fingers wide. Should I be concerned? Should the guy who lives below me be concerned?
I think you are ok. I wouldn't call anyone until there is actually a problem. Most likely it has already went to the tank by now. Even if it gets stuck in a trap you can unloose it with a plunger to get it to go down into the tank.
Q:We are going to buy a new fridge and we want one with an icemaker. the ideal place for it is about 32 feet (running the tubing) away from the water source. Is this possible to do? We are on a flat slab so we cannot run under the floors. it would have to be run up the wall, across part of the ceiling and under the sink.
Do not use that small plastic tubing to run in those places.Use copper tubing,so that there won't be any leaks.
Q:I pick up trash off the road today, it was like plastic tube and kinda like a cement thing, a lil farther down I saw a dead raccoon, when I got home I ate but forgot to wash my hands does this means I have rabies?I went over the raccon with my bike also and I kinda leaned on the tire after I ran it overIs there any chance tha I have rabies?
Take a very thorough shower asap if you haven't already, and go see your doctor just to make sure. I think yahoo suggested youtube as a category for this question because of the word tube.
Q:Pretty much anything safe a flexible that can be used. Needs to be about 3 or 3.5 inches in diameter. I need quite a bit of it. You know the play places at McDonalds for kids? Well, thats basically what I'm going to do only much smaller for my two ferrets. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find what I'm looking for? I'd like to find something other than PVC unless I can find about 20 feet of it that's flexible, clear, 3.5 inches diameter, and without an outragous price. Thanks so much.
This Site Might Help You. RE: Need some pipes or tubes to make homemade ferret tunnels throughout bedroom? Pretty much anything safe a flexible that can be used. Needs to be about 3 or 3.5 inches in diameter. I need quite a bit of it. You know the play places at McDonalds for kids? Q:would it be toxic?could u melt the tubing to the cups with a lighter?
air line tubing is probobly to thin to make an effective vacuum hose, but no it wouldnt hurt them to try, you could fuse it with a lighter, sound like a lot of work though. what are the cotton balls for? mollies can eat, algea wafer, shrimp pellets, pellet food, granules, flake food, live frozen or freeze dreid= daphnia, shrimp, worms, fruitflies... sliced raw or blanched veggies like cucmber squash, zucini, spinich
Q:I remember 35 years ago, when all the uproar was made about aluminum or metal filings were found inside toothpaste tubes. %Health issues were raised about the residual filings in the base of toothpaste tubes for people who press the last nth of toothpaste from the tube.I'm researching about this concern in the plastic and other material-type tubes used nowadays. How SAFE / secure can we be (is there a watchdog org?) to Q.C. this safety-issue in the commercial brands of toothpaste nowadays?I use a tube-wringer on my toothpaste tubes so I get the last nth of toothpaste from each tube and I am curious how SAFE a practice this is.
There's no way to remove all toxins from anything manufactured. If however, you are simply brushing your teeth with the toothpaste and not actually consuming it, I think you'll be ok. Afterall, the metal, aluminum or plastic filings (if swallowed) would only pass through your digestive course. Should harm occur it would likely be in a circumstance where there was already an issue, i.e. ulcers, diverticuli, etc. On the other hand, if you WERE to ingest fluoridated toothpaste you could become gravely ill on consumption of fluoride alone. Long story short: I think you'll be ok.
Q:We're adopting a six-month-old kitten soon, and she's a good fit in with our family except she's a chewer. My grandma is on oxygen and her tube snakes through our upstairs hallway. Although the cat won't be upstairs much, is there any way to make her NOT want to chew it? Wrapping it in something isn't a good idea, as my grandma is still sort of mobile and has to make it to the bathroom and such, but is there any kind of spray or powder you can put on a plastic tube that cats hate? Thanks!
you might could ask the doctor if it would be safe to run the oxygen tube through another larger, thicker tube so that it is harder to chew through and you would have time to stop the cat. This would also keep any spray from leaking through the oxygen tube plastic into the oxygen.
Q:...little grinding bits come in.The seal can be O.D. or I.D. and needs to slip on and off fairly easy, just like the seals in the tubes that contain the littler grinding bits Dremel makes.
1 piece of heat-shrink tubing to insulate your solder connection between EL wire and stereo wire (RadioShack) 1/2 6x32 clear polycarbonate screw to hold end bushing in (this is a recent addition, because the end bushings have come out of some of my blades when they are dueled with. However, these are rather expensive, as screws go. I think I payed about $10 for 50 screws.) hot glue, or silicone for end of blade super glue to glue in top and bottom bushings Note: I don't really like RadioShack all that much. I have a much better electronics store locally that I use that has a better selection and cheaper prices, but you can't order from them online, so I know you should be able to find what you need at RadioShack) That's just for the blade.
Q:I just bought a new diehard battery for my 07 nissan versa and taped to the Side was a little L shaped breather tube. I looked and there's a little hole on the side of the battery, where the breather fits. Do I need to use it? What does it do?
No do not bother with it. The battery maker just puts it there as a waste of your time and money. Just let any overflow spill down the side of the battery and ruin it, it will be fine.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for water filtration?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for water filtration.
