- Q: I was watching real videos and the last 3 have all been different alarm fires. What decides how many alarms it is?
- I know what your seeking but recently here in NZ its been banned because of the fittings blowing off the crimping isn't sufficient, co's over time it corrodes away, allowing the pipe to blow off! It's a bugger if it's in an interior wall. Here there's another brand and it has a stainless steel bush pushed up inside each connection before the fitting is pushed on. These fittings are able to be undone if needed they come in all sorts of sized configurations (it used to be called Acorn fittings but it could have since changed) The only thing is I wouldn't expect this plastic piping to carry hot water. The blockage might be something simple you will just have to try and eliminate possible causes by checking everything. The problem could quite easily be the pressure reducing valve as they often gum up with crap besides they have a tiny jet within them that blocks if the diapham is perished then you will get very little flow if anything!! I'd be seeking out the fault first, co's you might go replace all the piping using all the existing fittings only to find the problem is still there you have achieved nothing!! Other than spent lots of money time for nothing!! It's better cheaper to remedy the problem first if you find the pipework needs replacing then by all means do it - Do it once do it well is my work ethic's Cheers!!
- Q: The other day I was pulled over for speeding. The ticket said I was going 50 mph in a 25 mph zone. I am sure I wasn't going nearly that fast and the officer didn't use any sort of radar technology to determine my speed but rather paced it on a very hilly, curvy road. I've read that when officers pace a car on a road like this it is likely to be more inaccurate. Also he only paced me for a couple seconds, while I was slowing down at a stop sign, so I doubt it would be accurate at all. Lastly, he didn't turn on his lights and pull me over until we were on a completly different street where the speed limit was 45 mph. I don't know if that would change anything but someone told me it might. Is there anyway I can fight this (because I know I wasn't going as fast as he said, and I believe the only reason my speed was bumped up to 50 was so I could get the higher fine ticket). Thanks for any help!
- Yes. The ejector pump creates high head pressure when it kicks on. The vibration can also cause cracks. For the minor difference in cost why would you want to take the chance? Edit- First guys please READ the code book. Find the section that informs you that local codes if more restrictive can supercede state or national codes. Next wv EXACTLY where in his post did he use the term MACERATOR. Not all sewer pumps are macerators. The small lift pumps that come with the package systems put a very strong torque on the pipe when they turn on. This torque WILL break fittings. I also never use the rubber fernco style check valves that come with the pumps. The pressure rated glue joint type are the only way to go. Pump 30 gals of sewage into someones basement sometime. Then have them call me. I will do a proper installation. Don't quit your day job. ENJOY GUYS.
- Q: Consult the problem of the pressure at the entrance and exit of the pipe jointNow I'm in the oil system design has a 4 joint, one port as the oil inlet, the other three ports as an oil outlet, so, now oil inlet pressure is 2MPA, the oil outlet pressure is not each only 2/3=0.66MPA, because in this way, each oil outlet the flow of oil inlet flow only 1/3, the trouble which master to help me explain, I understand you talked about from the truth, I added 10 points
- Assuming two load infinite, a 1MPa load (cylinder or motor) can free action, three exits are linked together, so that the two load does not move, a move, three oil outlet pressure gauge pressure is 1MPa.Assume that one or more of the three is not loaded, and the three outlet pressure is 0, or very small. The three outlet pressure gauges are 0MPa.,You don't design, I'm scared
- Q: New standard, how can the pipe joint be labeled, such as "3/4" taper pipe thread?
- The English system is 55 degrees of thread, and the internal thread of taper pipe is Rc3/4. The outer thread is R3/4The U.S. is 60 degrees
- Q: Okay I have a cat and a dog. The dog sheds a lot of fur. And it sticks to my clothes, blanket, shoes, socks, pants, etc. I use the rollers but the hair sticks back. What is the best way to remove fur? Is there a machine that help clothes jot attract fur?
- I was going to suggest the same thing - you detector is still plugged in even though you removed the battery. Can you take the bedroom detector down from the ceiling? By now you must have replaced the battery in the hallway so you are back to only one beep. I know it is irritating. I have a cathedral ceiling and have wait for someone with an extension ladder to come replace the battery in that detector. And it just keeps beeping. :)
- Q: Does anyone know why this is happening? The battery is good, but after a medium length shower with the shower door open a little the alarm goes off. I plan to talk to the apartment office, but just wonder if it is defective. Thanks.
- Crazy hair, glasses, rubber gloves, one of those electric balls that when you put your hand on it your hair stands up. Hope this helped.
- Q: G1/8 "pipe joint end special sealing WD-B02 is what mean
- The special sealing ring WD-B02 for the end of pipe joint is one of many industrial seals. It is used as a special seal for hydraulic fittings such as pipe joint, hydraulic plug and transition joint,
- Q: A fire hose held near the ground shoots water at a speed of 6.7 m/s.At what angles should the nozzle point in order that the water land 2.0 m away?
- The 2015 Darwin Award goes to . (insert your name)
- Q: We have a fire and CO detector that I removed from the ceiling to paint it.After I removed it I saw in tiny print to shut it off before removing. I really am not familiar with what it looks like off hand as I'm at work.It is sensitive to the light being turned on and it goes off every time we turn the light on. It says warning, carbon monoxide levels are high, then it says carbon monoxide levels are 0 PPM and stops. They are all new and all of them have gone off at least twice since moving in and only when the light is turned on. They go off within seconds. How can I get this one to stop going off EVERY time? Like I said, I'm at work and not familiar off hand with what's on it. I'd hope there's some kind of reset button? Is it too close to the light? It's maybe 2-3 feet away from the light.I'm sure I can figure it out eventually, but it's just weird to never have a problem this bad with it until now.
- Yes; even at the same joint. I have an outdoor boiler/hydronic system and wish I'd gone with this in the first place rather than the CPVP feed. 20 yrs. with hot water boiler (wood).
