Q: I got my scaffold/industrial piercing today..about 4 or 5 hours ago and The glands in my neck are now swollen pretty bad..I usually suffer with swollen glands but not this much..is this from the piercing?? Is it dangerous? Also my ear still stings is that normal?Thanks in advance: There are a lot of viruses/allergies/sinuses going around right now, and I would say that the swollen glands aren't from the piercing, but it could very well be a lymph node in your neck with a collection of white blood cells grouping together to go fight the bacteria possibly from the piercing. And the stinging is fine, mine hurt for a really long time after I got it. Actually it still hurts quite often. But just keep applying the sea salt mixture three times daily and you should be healed up in no time! (:

Q: My current bar, my first ever bar, is about 43mm long, but it has a large gap from my ear to the balls, either side (1/2 cm each side)What length(mm) bar should I get now?: There is no way to know, everyone's ear is a different size so length of the bar is going to vary from person to person. Go to another piercer to have them fit jewelry to you.

Subtract right from left, = 34.58335 - 3.91667 = 30.6667kg/m can be applied by the painter. 30.6667/ 56 = .548 metre, the painter can move to the right of the right rope.

Q: im quite high up so would have to do the job internally (from the inside..avoiding climbing on roof). it seems that a material (looks like cement?) was used on this old roof (on the inside) and some of this has washed away as i can see daylight where the rain water is leaking through. there's also no black felt evident: You cannot repair any roof from the inside. Whoever did that internal patch was a hack.

It does not specify using a personal fall arrest (harness, lanyard, etc.). Having a standard guard rail system around the exposed edges of the scaffolding (42 inch high, 21 inch mid-rail, plus toe board) will meet this requirement. The three main types of fall protection systems are guard rails, personal fall arrest systems, and safety nets.

Q: I've been wanting an industrial piercing for quite a while now, and thankfully I convinced my parents to let me get it done about two weeks ago. We were on vacation in Florida last week and my mom said I could get it done there if I wanted, so we went into a tattoo shop and asked about it. They told me something I'd never heard before, that they would pierce the holes with hoops and in about a month I could put the barbell in. The piercers told me it would heal a lot easier this way and if the barbell was put in right away I'd end up taking it out because of the pain. This makes sense of course, but I have NEVER heard of it being pierced this way, and once the holes heal, won't they be off in aligning the bar with the piercings, causing me even more pain?They told me if I get it pierced in my home town to tell the piercer to do it the way they suggested but I'm not sure at all. I could take the pain if that was the only issue, but if it would heal better.. I'm not sure. Help? Thanks!: Stretching shouldn't hurt if you're giving it enough time... so this really isn't a good comparison! A single cartilage piercing doesn't hurt much more than your standard earlobe (lobe being 2, cartilage piercing being 3 on a scale of 1 to 10). But I've never had a scaffold or orbital of any kind, so I don't have much first hand experience. Honestly though I wouldn't worry about it. It will be over in 30 seconds, 1 minute tops. And you get to come away with a pretty new piercing! Yay!
