FAQ:

1. What's brand of this solar panel?

Answer : Soular solar. We are the manufacturer of this panel, OEM service is available, wholesales is welcome.

2. We need your pricelist for all the models ?

Answer : we dont present "pricelist" for a new customers, Because different order quantity, different  quality grade has different pricelist; right now, we can produce  solar panel from 3w to 300w for both poly & mono panel.

Attn. : You can just inform us your "target price" and detailed requirement , we will evaluate if we can produce for you.

3 . Our common questions for the new customer's inquiry :

(1) How many pcs solar panel do you need ?

(2) Which type do you need, Poly or Mono ?

(3) What is your requirement on the power, Voc, Isc, Vm, Im ?

(4) Which transportation way will you select ? by air ? by Sea ?

Q: Can solar panels be installed on a concert venue or entertainment facility?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a concert venue or entertainment facility. In fact, many large entertainment venues have already embraced solar energy to reduce their carbon footprint and lower energy costs. Installing solar panels on the roof or surrounding areas of these facilities can generate clean and renewable electricity, which can be used to power the venue's operations or be fed back into the grid. Additionally, solar panels can serve as a visible commitment to sustainability, inspiring others to adopt renewable energy solutions.
Q: Can I install my 2v solar panel straight to battery to charge the battery on my 989 ford ranger?
No, there is no way that you can install solar panel in your truck battery. For your information, solar panel works only if it is stable mode and consuming solar energy. So, think about it, does your moving truck can give what a solar panel need to run it.
Q: Can solar panels be damaged by birds or other animals?
Yes, solar panels can be damaged by birds or other animals. Birds may create nests under solar panels, which can cause damage to the wiring or block sunlight. Additionally, animals like squirrels or rodents can chew on the wires, potentially causing electrical issues. It is recommended to take preventive measures, such as installing barriers, to protect solar panels from such damage.
Q: Can solar panels be used on boats or marine applications?
Yes, solar panels can be used on boats and marine applications. They are a sustainable and efficient way to generate electricity, especially in areas with ample sunlight. Solar panels can be easily installed on the deck or roof of a boat, providing power for various onboard systems such as lighting, navigation equipment, and charging batteries. Additionally, solar panels help reduce reliance on fossil fuels and minimize the carbon footprint of marine activities.
Q: i want to build a stationary model of a solar panel and i dont know if it is going to be too simple or not i also want ideas to make it betterplease criticism is allowedmy idea was to make a case, just like a real solar panel, and take plexiglass to make it. i want to add some models of photovoltaic cells that look like they are in a solar panel . i want to add the fake shoulderings as well . i want to make the case openable by hinges.i would like some of your thoughts and ideas to help me .thx
For a mock up model you might try a fabric store or shelf paper with a pattern that mimics solar cells. Or just find a good pic on the net and print out several copies to glue on.
Q: i was told that by making a solar panel they cause more pollution than they will end up getting rid of. Is that true?
Absolutely not. This is a myth. The energy payback of a solar panel far outweighs its cost. With current technology (which is vastly improving every year), the payback begins in about -4 years depending on climate. This means that after -4 years, the solar panel has generated the same amount of energy that was used in its entire creation up until the point that it was installed. The panel will then continue to generate power for another 20-25 years at 90-98% capacity if properly maintained. The U.S. Department of Energy has conducted extensive studies on the subject and the results (which i'm quoting) can be viewed on their PV Faq page...
Q: I have 2 20 watt Solar panel. I have it hooked up to solar controller and batteries to inverter. Am trying to figure out how much watts am getting. I found the voltage but how do I find the amp reading on a mutimeter?
It is possible your meter does not have the capacity to safely measure more than 300 milliamps which is too small to measure current output from solar panels. Assuming no losses in the system or components, if your meter does not have the capacity to measure 0 Amps, you will need to get one that does. Analogs are better than digitial for this. Most often the 0 Amp circuit of the meter has a discrete positive plug location for the positive test lead. Most have a common ground connection with the rest of the meter functions. If you are measuring current at the battery in the charge mode- Negative lead of meter goes to positive terminal of battery and positive lead of meter goes to the cable that was connected to the positive terminal of the battery. Since the Wattage is a nominal measurement, if you measure between the panel and controller, take measurement on one leg of the panel, as you want to measure the current with the loaded active circuit. Meter is oriented the same way as the measurement at the battery would be made above only this time the meter is between the panel and controller. At peak solar conditions, expect current to be measured at 2.5 to3 Amps or more per panel. Under optimal conditions your panel will have higher output than their ratings indicate. Open circuit can be close to 20 volts. Never short circuit the output of the solar panels. It is volts multiplied by amps that gives you Watts.
Q: Can solar panels be used for street lighting?
Yes, solar panels can be used for street lighting. Solar panels can generate electricity from sunlight and store it in batteries, which can then power streetlights during the night. This is an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for street lighting, as it reduces reliance on the electrical grid and helps to conserve energy.
Q: I am looking at a need of roughly 30w/hour need per 24 hour period. I have spent several hours now looking for information online and have found plenty of info regarding the panels themselves, but information regarding the batteries backups have been slim. I understand that there is a 5-7 hour peak time to collect the energy. I am looking for information regarding the batteries themselves. How do the batteries work, what size batteries should I look for, and what is the life expectency for the batteries? Any website links would also be appreciated!
Solar panels have their own characteristics and generate current depending on the intensity of sunlight falling on them and not on the temperature. Direction of the panel also makes lots of difference. Nowadays very thin panels are available at very high cost. The more area a panel occupies it generates more current. The current generated by a panel cannot be readily used since the current and voltage varies with the load connected to it. So normally a regulator is used to have constant voltage and constant current to come from the panel. This charges the battery. You have to calculate the total/normal current from the charger and then find the AH of the battery. When you have calculated the AH of the panel/charger then you can divide the AH of the battery by the AH of the charger/panel and find out the time taken to fully charge the battery. You also have to remember that there is a de-rating factor to be taken into consideration in the battery.
Q: If you buy everything you need for a grid-tied solar set up, can you install it yourself or is it required that a professional installs it?
Solar panels have to be installed by a professional in order to get the government rebates. Also the systems must meet state and local electrical codes. Most modern inverters will not turn on unless there is live power from the MAINS, so a ultility company is NOT required for any installation anywhere. There are plenty of electrical contractors and speciality solar contractors out there to help you to make sure that the system is properly designed with the correct components, properly installed, and legally certified. Also many states require a permit that may have a large fee before any installation and may not allow the homeowner, especially for city homes, so it is best to check first. You might be able to get away with it if you live in the country, but consider the safety as well. See if you can work with your contractor to get the materials that you both agree upon as well. They can help guide you based upon their experience. Also shop around for pricing as the panels are now going below $ per watt !
