FAQ:
1. What's brand of this solar panel?
Answer : Soular solar. We are the manufacturer of this panel, OEM service is available, wholesales is welcome.
2. We need your pricelist for all the models ?
Answer : we dont present "pricelist" for a new customers, Because different order quantity, different quality grade has different pricelist; right now, we can produce solar panel from 3w to 300w for both poly & mono panel.
Attn. : You can just inform us your "target price" and detailed requirement , we will evaluate if we can produce for you.
3 . Our common questions for the new customer's inquiry :
(1) How many pcs solar panel do you need ?
(2) Which type do you need, Poly or Mono ?
(3) What is your requirement on the power, Voc, Isc, Vm, Im ?
(4) Which transportation way will you select ? by air ? by Sea ?
- Q: was looking at a few different sites, here is one of them
- I had a system installed recently, so I would suggest starting by getting a quote from a licensed contractor. Even if you are planning on doing the installation yourself, a contractor will have a lot of useful info. I got 3 quotes and they were all about the same cost. I was able to get a 2 year usage history from our utility so the contractors were able to suggest a system based on that. They were able to tell me about rebates and tax credits, were the best location would be and the estimated amount of production. They have a nifty gadget that can tell if there will be any shade cast on the roof at any time during the year. I decided to maximize my rebates and got a system that reduced my utility bill by about 50%, although my production has cut it much more than that, my highest electric bill was $35, and that was in Dec. with cloudy short days. I got a $0K rebate and a $2K tax credit. This year the fed. tax credit is 30% of the total installed price. My system cost $26K, I paid $6K out of pocket and I'm saving about $2K per year.
- Q: looking for a solar panel to charge my laptop on the road, macbook is 60 watt 6.v 3.5a, what should i be looking for in a solar panel?
- Well that's a good idea,,,here's what ya need..First you need an array that will overcome the drain effect created by the in use or sleeping laptop...that is best solved by averaging out the real use of the machine in terms of watt/minutes...If you check your transformer you'll see it has a capacity which you have cited however the true use of the computer is about 40-50 percent of that in watt/minutes..but only while your using it and when in the sleep mode the watt/minute value drops even more to about 5%.... So if your actual use consists of 2 hours of use per day at 50% and 2 hours at 5% percent the actual wattage draw is only averaged out at 34watts/minute. optimally your panel should supply all your power from its photovoltaic conversion ,but in the real world application the panel only recharges ,over a period of time, the used power. So if you had a 5 watt (@ 2vdc) panel working 480 minutes and used up 35 x2=700 and 9 x2=8 for a total of 78 watts you would have 5 x 480 = 7200 watts input and a parasitic load of 78 watts in the two hours...well within the recharge state required.. For a little safety I would permanently wire a cigarette lighter type plug to the end of the panel this will keep the polarity correct and serve as a quick disconnet means...Also add a fuse at .5 amp... a good place to get these are on the internet....some are very expensive some a very cheap --go for a middle of the roader...Have a good one from the E...
- Q: I'm looking at solar panels and I have NO IDEA what this stuff means. They come in catagories of Watts. What does that refer to? If a solar pannel is in the 200-watt catagory, what does that really mean? Will it produce 200 watts an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year?? How many watts of energy does the average house use up in one month? I really wish they would just tell me on the website!! :(0 points!!!!!!!! :D
- Watts is a measurement of power which is a combination of Voltage x Amps Example: a 200 Watt panel can produce 6.6 amps at 2 Volts. (200 = 2 x 6.6) If you bought a 24 volt system the same 200 Watts would give you half the amount of amps since the power (watts) is the same. When determining your needs for a solar system there are many factors that have to be taken into account. The amount of power you use will depend on what appliances you have in the house, how much you use them, and how careful you are with vampire loads (A TV or stereo will use some power even when turned off unless you unplug them). The amount of panels you need will also depend on your battery system, amount of sunlight that you have in a day and how many days of reserve power you think you will need based on the weather in your area. If you wanted to completely run your house on solar energy you are looking at an investment of $5,000 - $20,000 or even more. There sometimes are tax incentive depending on where you live that will reduce your overall cost. Some examples of power usage: Toaster : 800-500W Microwave : 600-500W Dishwasher : 200-500W Washing Machine : 500W Vacuum Cleaner : 200-700W Iron : 000W Clothes dryer : 4000W Ceiling Fan : 0-50W Table Fan : 0-25W Electric Blanket : 200W Hair Blow dryer : 000W Electric Shaver : 5W Laptop Computer : 20-50W Desktop Computer : 80-50W TV (9 colour) : 70W Clock radio : W Fridge / Freezer : 500W 25 colour TV : 50W Electric Kettle : 2000W
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of drought?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of drought. Solar panels are not affected by water scarcity as they do not require water for their operation. They generate electricity by converting sunlight into energy, making them suitable and effective in dry climates.
- Q: I have:4- 5v 200ma solar panels5- 3v ,000ma solar panels- 7amp charge controller- 400watt inverterNow I have all my solar panels linked in series which in theory should give me 35v, 5.8 amps at 203 watts. Is this correct? The main question is, what kind of battery should I get so I can run my miscellaneous electronics off of it?I may not have explained it so well so if you need more information, feel free to ask.
- I okorder and they have deep cycle batteries exclusively made for solar panels. but in theory you should get more than one because it only takes around 4-5 volts to charge the battery and you do not want to have it that high even with a charge controller which i would also recommend getting which is like $50 on OKorder but a charge controller is used so you do not overcharge the batteries and fry them or undercharge the batteries and weaken its life it gets it just perfect. it lets the current go in and when it is charged fully nothing goes in an nothing comes out.... for a inverter the one i was going to get was $70 500 watt inverter but changes it from dc to ac...hope i helped
- Q: How do solar panels affect the homeowner's insurance policy?
- Solar panels can have an impact on a homeowner's insurance policy as they are considered an additional structure or improvement to the property. While they may increase the overall value of the home, they also introduce potential risks such as damage from storms or accidents. Homeowners should inform their insurance provider about the installation of solar panels to ensure adequate coverage and potentially adjust their policy accordingly.
- Q: How are solar panels installed?
- Solar panels are typically installed on rooftops or open spaces using metal frames or mounting brackets. The process involves anchoring the panels securely, connecting them in a series or parallel configuration, and wiring them to an inverter that converts the DC electricity generated by the panels into usable AC electricity. Additionally, a solar panel installation may require making electrical connections to the building's electrical system and installing a net meter to measure the energy produced and consumed.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a multi-story building?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a multi-story building.
- Q: i have a fountain system that has a small electric pump. its made to be close to a house but i want it across the driveway and i dont want to run electrical over there.is there a small solar panel that i can get fairly inexpensive to mount on a nearby tree and be able to plug the pump into it?
- Home Depot has several sizes for applications such as yours in the gardening section. Because I am always looking for ways to save money, even in the long run, I was looking at the possibility of solar power for here in SW FL.
- Q: What sort of maintenance is required for solar panels....?
- All panels should be cleaned to function best. Brush or wash off dirt and leaves. They should be checked for structural integrity and lack of rust. Solar Thermal panels should be checked for signs of leaks and/or discharge from pressure relief valves. Solar Photovoltaic should be checked for electrical function and grounding.
