Q: Can plastic tubes be used for promotional products?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for promotional products. They are versatile, cost-effective, and customizable, making them suitable for various promotional purposes such as packaging, gift giveaways, and product display.
Q: How do you prevent plastic tubes from melting?
One way to prevent plastic tubes from melting is by using heat-resistant materials such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) that have higher melting points compared to other plastics. Additionally, it is important to avoid exposing the plastic tubes to excessive heat sources or direct flames.
Q: Light enters a solid tube made of plastic having an index of refraction of 1.69. The light travels parallel to the upper part of the tube. (See the figure .) You want to cut the face AB so that all the light will reflect back into the tube after it first strikes that face.
Hello The angle for total internal reflection is Θc = arcsin(n2/n1) in the case where n2 = 1 (air) Θc = arcsin(1/1.69) = 36.27° -- ans. this is the angle with the normal of the surface. The angle that you are asking for is 90°-Θc = 53.73° ---------- in the case where n2 = 1.333 (water) Θc = arcsin(1.333/1.69) = 52.06° and Θ = 90 - 52.06 = 37.94° -- ans. Regards
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to scratching?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to scratching.
Q: What exactly is tubes in ears?
Tiny tubes are inserted thru the eardrum in order to relieve mucus and/or fluid that has built up behind the membrane; usually as a result of infection. Eventually the eardrum grows back and the tubes fall out on their own.
Q: How do you seal plastic tubes?
There are a few common methods to seal plastic tubes, depending on the specific requirements and materials used. One popular approach is heat sealing, where the open end of the tube is heated until it melts and then pressed together to create a tight seal. Another method is using adhesive or glue to bond the edges of the tube, ensuring it is securely sealed. Additionally, some tubes may come with pre-fitted caps or closures that can be easily snapped or screwed on to seal the contents.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for oil and gas industries?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used in the oil and gas industries. Plastic tubes, specifically those made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), are commonly used for various applications in the oil and gas sector. They are suitable for transporting fluids, chemicals, and gases due to their resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and abrasion. Plastic tubes can offer cost-effectiveness, durability, and ease of installation, making them a viable choice for certain oil and gas industry needs.
Q: where can i find empty plastic candy tubes for sand candy?
NO NO NO NO NO That is very dangerous. A baby can choke on even a corner of the bag if they get it caught in their throat and it would be very hard to get it out. Never let a baby play with plastic bags or pieces of plastic wrappings. It is too dangerous, no matter what the size of it is.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for irrigation systems in agriculture?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for irrigation systems in agriculture. They are commonly employed as an affordable and durable option for delivering water to crops efficiently. Plastic tubes are lightweight, easy to install, and resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for agricultural irrigation purposes.
Q: We currently use round bottom glass test tubes on our automation but suffer a large dead volume. We are looking to find a supplier of low dead volume glass/plastic test tubes to trial
That's an unusual question. MANY years ago (50 or so) when we used to run a lot of pregnancy tests by utilizing Leopard Frogs, we used to use V-bottomed test tubes to spin down the sediment. Frankly, that's pretty much the only example I can remember where we used them. But I would think that they are still around. I would suggest you contact a laboratory supply house or two or three, and ask them. They are much more likely to be able to give you an answer than us geeks on the Yahoo medicine board. The stuff I used 50 years ago might not be around anymore.
