Q: Do plastic tubes have a smooth or textured surface?
Plastic tubes typically have a smooth surface.
Q: How are plastic tubes measured?
Plastic tubes are typically measured by their outer diameter and sometimes by their wall thickness.
Q: Can plastic tubes be customized with color?
Yes, plastic tubes can be customized with color. They can be manufactured in various colors to suit specific preferences or branding requirements.
Q: The water dispenser tube on the outside front has a hard yellow substance on the end of the tube. I don't know what it is or how to get the tube out to clean it.
Sounds like sulphur. You must have sulphur in your water. Scrap it off and expect to have to do it again. Good luck I believe the GE models the tube is foamed in place not changable by itself. The entire door would have to be changed out. very expenssive. Try a small bottle type brush to clear it. Good luck
Q: i was wondering what would cause oil to lightly spray out of the plastic tube that hangs down out of the top end of the piston. the tube comes out of the top end right before the exhaust header bolts onto the piston.
except this actual engine isn't comparable to another engine interior the worldwide a blown head gasket will blow coolant into the cylinder which will blow previous the jewellery into the crankcase. the different selection is a cracked head or case, that's a worst case situation. often if the water pump oil seal is going you will get oil interior the coolant with the aid of fact the oil is under greater rigidity than the coolant, direction of least resistance stuff. do no longer try this blind or on elementary propose, get a instruction manual. 30 greenbacks for a instruction manual is extra fee-effective than any restoration in case you screw up.
Q: What are the plastic pipes that can be welded?
What plastic material can be welded? What's the question? - ah, a little dizzy, not plastic. What is it? Generally weldable plastic pipes are PPR tubes and PE pipes.
Q: Can mercury be stored in a hard plastic test tube?
If it can b stored in a thermometer, it can be stored in a test tube. You should seal it though
Q: I need to find a round, plastic jar that is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 3/4 high. Does anyone know where I can find something like this?
Peanut butter comes in a container about that size....
Q: Just wondering if the blue and red coloured sharkbite Pex tubing that is sold in states legal to use in Canada? I'm looking to do the plumbing in my new home and am looking to use this stuff rather than the copper. Thanks for any help
Can't imagine a problem with code compliance. PEX (plastic extruded tubing) has been used in northern Europe for decades, because it won't split when water freezes inside it -- it just swells up like a sausage, then reverts to it's original shape when thawed. The stuff is made from the same material as trash bags, and it will outlast cockroaches. It won't interact chemically with water or with impurities which might be in the water, it steals less heat from the water than does copper, so the wait for hot water is shorter, and it doesn't transmit sound as readily as copper. Only caveat is to be careful to use quality fittings -- the few problems I've ever heard of with PEX all had to do with inferior or poorly installed elbows, tee fittings, etc. I've used it exclusively for 8 years (well over 100 custom homes) and never had a single problem.
Q: What is the maximum diameter-to-length ratio for plastic tubes?
The maximum diameter-to-length ratio for plastic tubes can vary depending on the specific type of plastic and the intended application. However, generally speaking, plastic tubes typically have a maximum diameter-to-length ratio of around 10:1.
