Polycarbonate corrugated sheet with 100% virgin material

Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is inexpensive and easy to install with simple wood working tools. Light weight and tough, it can be cold formed to gentle curves.

Made from Lexan Polycarbonate material, a high performance GE engineering thermoplastic. Lexan corrugated polycarbonate sheet offers the clarity of glass, transmitting up to 90% of visible light while filtering out harmful ultraviolet light. Its proprietary integral UV resistance is backed by a 10 year limited warranty  against yellowing and loss of light transmission.

JIasida Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is exceptionally resistant to weathering. Using proprietary technology, Jiasida Corrugated Polycarbonate sheet is manufacturered with an integral layer protecting the sheet from the damaging effects of sunlight. It will remain clear and non-yellowing for many years with minimal deterioration.
Light transmittance for clear corrugated polycarbonate sheet remains at 90%.

High Impact Strength of Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet
With 20 times the impact resistance of fiberglass and over 40 times the impact resistance of glass or acrylic (Figure 4), our Corrugated polycarbonate sheet resists hail, wind, and vandalism.  Corrugated sheet maintains this superior impact resistance at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C.

Thermally Insulating Properties of Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet
Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet can help save energy because of its thermal insulating capability. Compared to fiberglass, which has a U-value of 1.56, Corrugated Polycarbonate sheet insulates with a U-value of 1.2.

Lexan Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is Chemically Stable
Although Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is unharmed by many chemical substances, it is important to avoid contact with adhesives, paints or solvents which are incompatible with polycarbonate. Chemicals to avoid include benzene, gasoline, acetone, and carbon tetrachloride, among others. Only recommended cleaners should be used to clean Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet.

Low Flammability of Lexan Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet
Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet meets the requirements of an approved light-transmitting plastic as described by all three model building codes (ICBO, BOCA, and SBCCI). These include ASTM D635, D1929, and D2843. Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet exhibits superior flammability performance when compared to typical fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) and acrylic sheet materials.

Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is Light Weight
Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet reduces labor costs because its light weight simplifies handling, transportation, and installation – particularly of long spans in high places. Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is only one-quarter the weight of glass on a square-foot basis.

Cleaning Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheets
Clean Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet with any mild soap or detergent and warm water, using a soft cloth or sponge. Abrasive cleansers, brushes, or squeegees should not be used. The following cleaning agents have been found compatible with Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet.

Warranted to Perform
Corrugated sheet is backed by a 10-year warranty against yellowing and loss of light transmission.

Q: Is it possible to melt down plastic bags or bottles to make transparent sheets for a house's roof?
can and it very easy. melted the plastic on the temperature 105°C to 138°C (depending on the type of plastic used) then moulded by the colded mold (so that the plastic is not attached to the mould)
Q: For my Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain course, Betty Edwards includes a view finder containing an overhead projector sheet as one of the materials. I assumed any sheet of plastic (i.e. a plastic sleeve made for a binder) would work, but now I discovered she wants the reader to write on it using a white board marker (and wipe it off afterwards). Any ideas on how I can get a one or two overhead projector sheets, or else, are there any easy alternatives?
Go to your nearest middle school or high school and ask if you can get a couple of sheets from one of those teachers or something. When those sheets gets a little too clouded or overused, teachers tend to throw them away and use newer ones. U can ask for the old ones. Hope this helps.
Q: So I went to staples and had them laminate like 8 papers I HAVE to have laminated by tomorrow.... And I picked them up, came home, and they were literally my papers stuck between 2 plastic sheets. I can peel it easily and it is not sticking at all. Am I supposed to do something or did they mess up and forget something???? Please help!!!!
It sounds like they messed up. My guess is that the machine was not hot enough to allow the laminate sheeting to bond. Yes, you should call them and go back. Laminating IS two plastic sheets with a paper between. However, when the machine is very hot, the plastic softens and bonds. Did you trim the papers? You should always leave a narrow edge of plastic around the edges, perhaps a quarter inch. If you trim it exactly against the paper, there is nothing on the edge to seal and bond. If they did the trimming, then check the edging. If there is a quarter edge beyond the paper and it is separating, then take it back. That could be a machine not hot enough. Take your receipt.
Q: Can plastic sheets be used for skirting boards or baseboards?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for skirting boards or baseboards. They are a cost-effective and durable alternative to traditional materials like wood or MDF. Plastic sheets are easy to install, water-resistant, and require minimal maintenance.
Q: I'm working on a project that requires a semi firm / flexible plastic backing to which I'm going to bond hook and loop material to, using velcro glue. It also needs to be something I can cut and shape easily, with like an exacto knife. Thus far I've looked in Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabrics, Walmart and Lowes with no luck. Thanks.

Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to solvents?
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to solvents.
Q: Well me and my friend are planning a dance/pool party for the end of the school year and we are using another friend's house for it and we're turning the living room into a dance floor and we want to make the environment more dancy so we were looking into black plastic sheeting which is expensive and we are two teens who are broke so I was wondering if you anyone knows like a cheaper alternative with like, garbage bags perhaps? Idk any suggestions, or cheaper alternatives to making the living room more dancy? Thank you.
A 10' roll of black visqueen plastic sheeting from Home Depot is not very expensive. It would be cheaper than garbage bags and a lot less hassle to hang up. I would warn you, though -- a lot of plastic sheeting is flammable so DON'T drape it around your party if you expect to have any candles or if people will be smoking -- you could have a dangerous, even deadly, fire. One cheap item I've found makes an indoor room dancy is the goofy-looking UDO (unidentified disco object) light show ball from Spencer's gifts. It's only $20 and rotates a multi-colored light show all over the room. I bought one as a joke for a Woodstock 40th anniversary party last summer and it turned out to be a huge hit. People were really self-conscious about dancing, even though I burned a great tune line-up. But once I shut off the lights and cranked up the UDO everybody hit the dance floor and I couldn't get them to stop until I turned it off. Best 20 bucks I ever spent for a party.
Q: Iam doing a project with painters sheeting plastic which needs to be bond together without unlocking.I do not know which quick drying glue to use.Can anyone tell me which glue is the right glue for my project? (preferably quick drying glue ) Thanks, and HAPPY HOLIDAY.....HO,HO,HO,HO,HO.

Q: Where can i buy the PVC Sheet with good quality?
If you are talking about the 2' x 4' white plastic sheets, any hardware store or home improvement store ( such as home depot ) should carry these. Its used for light fixtures mostly. They should also cut it down if needed.
Q: This plastic is used instead of clay as flooring for salt bed
