Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, G40 string lights designed with Edison Vintage style filaments produce a moderate, ambient light at 500lm per bulb.

- Q: We understand light is made up of particles. A beam of light particles would have weight of some amount, if so could Light push or propel an object?
- Well, light can be viewed as a particle. But it's a massless particle. On the other hand, a ray of light is bent when passing a massive object. And that could be viewed as one of the properties of a body that has weight. So this means that I can't say yes and I can't say no. Gonna have to think about this one........

- You mean paper lanterns? There are online places that sell them, and as long as you use water colour paint it should be fine (don't use anything oil based).

On Earth the air scatters light to some extent in all directions. Also it reflects to some extent off the many solid objects in our surroundings. Therefore if you look in any direction there is some light, although it is much less intense than is coming directly from the sun. If you were to look directly at the sun, there is so much light it's blinding.

- Natural is sunlight. Everything else is artificial.
- Q: I have a couple questions regarding black lights. First off, are black lights bad for you your eyes? Also, if black lights emit UV rays, could you get a tan from them?
- Blacklights don't give off any more UV than a regular flourescent light. While you could get a tan from them, it will take a reeeaaaalllly long time. They are bad for your eyes though. In normal light your pupils dialate to let in only a little bit of light. this protects your eyes from the UV rays. With black lights since don't give off a lot of visible light, your pupils stay wide open, and lots of UV gets in.

- 1st) just to make clear, you cant travel at speed of light, but lets assume this is a theretical question which it is so for all those wo just want to write LOL, its impossible to travel at v=c...... go away ^^ 2) no they wouldnt work as light would travel at the same speed as you would so it would not reflect of any other object in front of you....

- Q: I have a coldwater 3ft tank that has alot of natural light going through the tank as both sides are on show, would i need lights to keep plants that need low lighting like java fern?
- It's better to have tank lights to first light up the tank on the inside a bit more as well as grow the java fern. Tank lights should only be on for about 6-8 hours a day, to prevent algae from blooming too much. Make sure that your tank isn't in direct sunlight!
