Aluminium foil (or aluminum foil) is aluminium prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mils) are also commonly used.In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). Thefoil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimeslaminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplantedtin foil in the mid 20th century.

Q: I remember seeing an RV a while backI can't remember what it was called and can't remember the lengthI remember that it was called something like quot;slip streamquot; or something like thatI know it's not Gulf Stream, those are airplanesI'm pretty sure the second word of the company was quot;streamquot; but not 100% sureCan someone name all companies they know of that have a similar name? Thanks :)
Airstream is an old name, for those unpainted aluminum rounded trailersI think some Airstream Motor Homes have been madeNot really up on big RVs, but wanted to help.
Q: I tried making a bowl out of tinfoil but it didn't really work out :/
Please don't smoke out of plastic and tin foil, it really is very bad for youPlastic contains many cancer-causing chemicals which you do not want the ingest, and high doses of aluminum have been linked to early onset AlzheimersIf you must smoke out of something home made, hollow out an appleIt's easy, cheap, inconspicuous, and not too bad for you (as far as smoking anything goes that is)But if you're an avid smoker, you really should just go buy a small glass pipe or bongThey can be really cheap, ranging from about $10+ for a pipe, and $25+ for a bong, the least expensive glass onesIf you're underage just get an older friend to buy it for youIt's really healthier and more convenient in the long run.
Q: I have to make a clay project of a Goliath Bird-Eating spider for schoolI'm really good at this stuff (like making things out of clay) and I have a big imaginationThe problem is that they are really hairy on their legs and I can't find anything to put on my sculpture to make it look hairy(P.S It has to be able to stick to the sculpture because it stands up and i can't have it falling off for the art show.)
Use crepe hair, which you can get in a costume shop or craft placeIt's inexpensive stuff that actors use when they suddenly need a mustache for a role, and don't have time to grow a real oneFor a sculpture (rather than a face) you could create a hair patch by putting several coats of latex down over aluminum foil and then implanting crepe hair into it while it's still wet(If you want it stretchy, use a layer of pantyhose on the foil.) You then pull it free of the foil and you have a 'hairy patch' that you can cut into whatever length and size you need and applyIf you are afraid of it falling apart, you can put strips of gauze bandage instead of pantyhose into the first coat of latex.
Q: Please help meIs it possible if I don't use lards and cookie sheets?
You can bake cookies on anythingThe reason that sheet pans are recommended is that they have a flat open surface which allows the heat to swirl around the cookie getting it a little more evenly done as opposed to, say, trying to bake it in a bowlA sheet pan also allows for expansion as the cookies flatten out during the cooking processIf you do not have a sheet pan then you could use an oven-safe frying pan and cook a few cookies at a timeOr, of course, ad lib with other itemsAnd, as suggested above, you can lay out some aluminum foil on one of the oven racks and cook them on that.
Q: I sweat really bad under my armsIt doesn't matter what deorderant I use, I just sweat beyond reason for a female and it is annoying and unattractiveHELP!
As for the sweaty underarms: Poster 1 in answering this question found a great sourceOne more thing you might try is the new line of antiperspirants that are Clinical Strength available at any storePresently I am only aware of Secret and Gillete brand, but I think Mitchum may have one as wellTry adding Oxy Clean to the washer to get rid of stains.
Q: Whats your favorite chicken wing recipe?
just because you are amodel does not mean that you have to straighen your hairFind something else to do with itYour hair needs to heal The more you use a flatiron the shorter your hair is going to get it will self trim itself and will fry upIf your a model you dont want that to happen if you like it best straight blow dry your hair on a cool setting then buy clip in hair extensions that are straightyou can cut them too so there the same length as your hair.
Q: i need a good rib recipe my mom says she never makes them cuz they always turn out bad.i perfer the bbq ones not the dry ones.any good recipes?.if not sites to the recipe(perfer the recipe)
a dirty needle and ink from a pen.
Q: A partey
If you want to make a pinata with papier mache, as mentioned there are all kinds of things you could use as temporary formsAny forms made from a material that would stick to the papier mache though (rubber balloons won't stick at all or much) should be covered first with plastic wrap or aluminum foil before beginning the papier macheing process so the form can easily be removed after the papier mache driesIf you want to make a sphere (round shape) in particular, instead of covering a balloon you can make the sphere in two halves then tape them together You could use something like the back side of a large bowl or a huge light bulb or anything else you could find (or make) with a domed top Make two of those (let each dry fairly well before removing, then stuff lightly with bunched newspapers or something while they finish drying alone), then put the two parts together with tape, hot glue, whateverIf the edges of each hemisphere aren't even, you can cut them even with kitchen or other strong scissors.of if the pinata is thick/strong enough you can sand the entire bottom on a sheet of sandpaper on the floor/table, etc, firstYou may need a final layer of papier mache to smooth out the area where the tape is, but if you'll be covering the pinata with loops (or other shapes) of tissue paper or crepe paper, etc., you won't see that it's uneven(If you wanted to use a shoebox, you'd need to cover with plastic wrap or foil, then cover all but one side so you could remove the shoebox form when the papier mache driedYou could then attach a separate papier mache side, or you could try just laying the strips of papier mache across the open side until they're thick enough.)
Q: I got a bunch of stuffed quail from a VERY nice catering company saturday nightI want to reheat them for dinner for my date (and i am a horrible cook) so that we can have a nice dinnerI dont want to screw it up cuz I always doI cooked 2 in the microwave for 50 seconds.the quail was hot but the stuffing was notHow long what temp should I cook 4 of them in the oven? Should they be covered with tinfoil? Any tips so that they dont get dry!? Thanks for helping out a horrible cook!!!
Put into a pan with a little water and wrap tightly with aluminum foilHeat it up in a 300 degree oven for about 45 minutes-cheacking it often to make sure you don't over cook it.
