- Q: Hello, I was wondering if someone can tell me how to set off my Audi TT car alarm using the remote control.Background / reason (someone will ask!)ive had my car for nearly two yeas now and i love it, i have looked after it very carefully and so far never managed to get a single scratch, but recently alot of kids have been playing next to my car (Which is parked on my drive) and the ball has been hitting my car, now i have been out and asked them nicely once or twice but they keep doing it and to make matters worse it seems like a different group of kids everyday ? - i think if i set the alarm off it would scare them away !If anyone knows how to set the alarm off it would be great!
- If there's nothing wrong with the electronics in your car, don't worry about the other answer. I think all you want to do is set off the alarm for a couple seconds, so just push the red panic button on your remote. To turn it off, just press the same button again. Hope this helps.
- Q: Up until a few days ago i had no idea my 2000 Honda Civic Ex had security system. If i pressed the lock button on my remote twice, the horn would honk, but that was all. The other night i was walking to my car and pressed the unlock button and the horn honked twice, and i had no idea why. Later when i got out of my car and shut the door, the horn honked, and when I pressed the lock button on my remote it honked again. I got very tired of this so just stopped locking my door to avoid bothering anyone with the loud horn. But now if my door is unlocked and i open it, BEEP!!!BEEP!!!BEEP!!!BEEP!!! There is no information about an alarm or security system in my manual, so i can‘t figure out what i need to do to disable the system. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.
- Are you sure it's your car? Just kidding. Unplug the speaker in the engine bay, take out the fuse of the alarm, and it will disable your alarm completely Or just unlock your car with your key.

- here is a suggestion.disconnect it since car alarms do not keep thieves away.it is the old cliche locks only keep out honest people. have you ever paid any attention what so ever to a car alarm going off other than being annoyed? if you are afraid of you car getting stolen i would recommend something like lo jack.if you're afraid of things being stolen from your car put them in the trunk or not in your car at all.

- Meaning.it goes off constantly or will not dearm? You can always hook up a power break for the constant power to the brain.

- Q: I have a Stratus that had a Pursuit car alarm when I bought it. The dealer did not have a manual. This morning it was cold and when I tried to start it the car turn over real slow and tripped the alarm mode. Now when you turn the key nothing happens and all the lights flash. There is a horn and hood switch under the hood and a motion sensor under the dash by the module. There are also 2 on/off switches under the dash on the drivers side along the left wall. I removed the 2 fuses on the module but it did not do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had similar problems?
- There is more to disconnecting the alarm than just removing a fuse. I'd suggest taking it to an alarm shop and have them put it back to stock.
