Q: it comes this plastic tube (it isn't in the pic) but i have no idea where it goes or what is it for?
Ah, a simple filter (I'd really apprieciate some information on the build quality and noise level of that. Intake is trough the slots at the bottom. Top left shows the outflow pipe, that makes a 90 degree angle up and then another 90 degree angle. The clear plastic tube has holes in it so that the returning water is distributed evenly and results in a bit more air in the water.
Q: I've seen some rock/alt musicians have this plastic tube attached to their microphone and it goes down to somewhere near the monitors? I don't actually know where it goes. But, they put their mouth on it and the microphone (at the same time I think) and they sing(?) into it and all these strange/cool sounding noises come out. What is it called? How does it work?Thank you!
You're talking about a musical vocoder, I think, although depending on what 'strange/cool sounding' noises come out you might be talking about a Sonovox.
Q: Just curious . . . Seems like it would less expensive and safer.
Well, Neon is an inert gas. It seldom if ever will react with anything. The reason being is that the tubing can get substantially hot. Plastic melts at relatively cold temperatures...for instance, even hot water can melt plastic. It wouldn't really be safer to have the plastic tubing melt on you...now would it? If the neon gas escapes...it isn't really any big deal. Neon is already part of our natural air anyway..that is where they get it from. What is a big deal in event of failure, is if the gas isn't a pure inert gas. ONLY the red-orange lights are literally Neon lights. The other colors are actually fluorescent lights (with the exception of some Argon/some Krypton/some Xenon lights). Fluorescent lights use a very toxic gas to function...MERCURY VAPOR.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for aquariums or fish tanks?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for aquariums or fish tanks. They can be employed for various purposes such as creating water flow, connecting filters or air pumps, or even as decorations. However, it is important to ensure that the plastic used is non-toxic and safe for aquatic life, as certain plastics may release harmful substances into the water.
Q: I'm would like to buy this in store and not online. Please let me know of where you think this item might be available for purchase. Thanks
try united states plastic corp.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing powders or granules?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing powders or granules. They are commonly used in various industries such as pharmaceutical, food, and chemical, as they provide a convenient and hygienic storage solution. Plastic tubes offer good barrier properties, protecting the contents from moisture and external contaminants. Additionally, they are lightweight, easy to handle, and can be sealed tightly to ensure the integrity of the stored powders or granules.
Q: Looking at getting a Kamp;N Cold Air Intake and am unable to decide between the chrome or plastic tube? Does one perform better than the other? I know the Chrome would definitely look better under the hood.
No they will both do the same thing, and that's provide a path for the airflow. The chrome one is probably plastic anyway. Neither will perform any better than the other. Not like the intake setup will do anything useful either, but you didn't ask that.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for use in the mining industry?
Yes, plastic tubes can be suitable for use in the mining industry. Plastic tubes offer various advantages such as being lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and cost-effective. They can be used for various applications in mining, including conveying fluids, ventilation systems, and monitoring equipment. However, it is important to consider the specific requirements and conditions of the mining operation to ensure that the chosen plastic tubes meet the necessary strength, durability, and safety standards.
Q: i am designing something that has a frame of tubing that its relaxed when there is no air pressure in it, but becomes straight and reletivley rigid when when you put air presure in it.
The 2 foot diameter nylon sleeves filled with low pressure air that you see for advertising displays. If you try to use small diameter tubing, with flexible plastic tubing, it won't work. The closest tubing that does work is specially made for pressure gauges, and it just slightly uncoils under pressure.
Q: i have to know, because otherwise the hoover is rendered completely useless, the bottle cap is the same size as the hoover tube and i do not have a stick or long object long enough with which to poke it out :(please help me
Have you tried blowing it out. Wipe the opening on the opposite side of the tube where the cap is with some rubbing alcohol till it's clean and let dry. Then take a deep breath and blow through the tube, sealing the tube by pressing it against your face. This should dislodge the cap enough to where you should be able to shake the cap out.
