Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

People discriminate against Slipknot because its not the heaviest thing out there, and Slipknot's 12 year old fans try to make it out to be.

- I've just now read zinc, lead, brass, and nickel are all toxic to parakeets. Rust is also toxic to them.........Stainless steel is safe. Steel is attracted to a magnet, so I would remove anything metal that isn't attracted to a magnet. ......It says plastic is safe, though I still wonder if there are different sorts of plastic. - heavy metal has lots of genre, i started out listen to pop and punk rock but i suddenly shift into the metal genre a couple of years ago, depends on what you like, if you like songs that talks about fantasy and epic stories and inspires you listen to power metal, if you like awesome guitar or instruments solo listen to death metal, if you like awesome screaming and growls listen to black metal, if you like folk music or folk instruments listen to folk metal, if you like vikings or pirates listen to viking metal or pirate metal just to name a few

- Magnetism has to do with unpaired electrons. Electrons spin clockwise or counter clockwise. Generally they are paired. When they are not they create magnetism. Iron has 3 unpaired electrons and demostrates tahe greatest magnetism. cobalt and nickle also demonstrate some magnetism. Also, some of the rare earths and some alloys such as Alnico and steel. RECENTLY, several papers have been published on the use of polarized light for revealing the grain structure of metals and alloys. Hone and Pearson1 showed that by examining under polarized light a polished aluminium surface which had been anodized in a suitable electrolyte, the grain structure was revealed, differently oriented grains appearing with different brightnesses. Woodward2, by etching 'Monel' metal in a specific reagent, has found similar effects. Polished surfaces of aluminium and 'Monel' metal, being optically isotropic, do not react to polarized light as do the optically anisotropic surfaces of tin, zinc, cadmium, etc., and the above authors1,2 have attributed the optical anisotropy of the anodized aluminium and etched 'Monel' metal to the anisotropic properties of the surface film formed during anodizing or etching.
