- 1) Upgrading to a different phone 2) Well you change contract do depends if you have to buy the phone 3) you get a new one I think but keep your number 4) Well when you upgrade you have to get a phone that is more expensive that your current phone 5) no you have to upgrade through your network, if you're with t-mobile I think you can upgrade to EE, but if you want to go to like 3 or something you'll have to wait until your contract ends and cancel it, and get a new one with 3 for example.

- Q: I picked up a phone at the store and the address on my card I used to pay for my plan is in Florida (850) so it put me in that service area. I can't use my phone without having to pay roaming charges. Is there a way to change my number online? If not, how do I cancel my account without losing my first month's payment?(Virgin Mobile's online support is a joke and I'm not waiting an hour and a half again to just to be told to call back later again)
- Well I have virgin mobile and to change your area code or full number is free and must be done over the phone with a different phone, also there are no roaming charges for virgin. If you are in a different state it works the same (been there done that) there are no charges for anything you do not add to your phone and NO you can't get your money back unless you have not used any minutes on the phone, I just went through this last month but I didn't use any minutes and was refunded. Virgin mobile is not like most pay as you go phones there is no roaming fee and you can't do anything if you do not have money to pay for it in your top-up. Just call VM or keep the number. - Yes there are dozens of apps that allow other people to track your phone. To prevent it just dont allow other suspicious people use your phone and put a passcode on it. Thats it.

- Generally no. Especially the newer ones. Cricket generally will flash Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, Metro PCS, US Cellular and other companies phones over but Virgin Mobile isn't one of them. Virgin Mobile phones along with Tracfone/Net10 have the highest level of anti flashing techniques built into their phones (so people can't buy their cheap phones and then not use them on VM's network). I would just get a cheap Verizon phone as they are the easiest to flash to Cricket. But make sure you are NOT in a Cricket Trimode market. The new Trimode areas can't flash other phones over because they are not compatible with the new Trimode channel. Nobody uses Trimode but Cricket and Metro PCS at this time.

- Walgreen's is the main one that I know of. You can also purchase them online at virgin mobile, if you purchase a prepaid visa or master card it might make it allot easier for you. I know that I just seen one of the Switch back phones in Walgreens yesterday, But I live in Iowa. Best of Luck!

- To activate the Gprs on mobile phone just follow the steps below: Select a Frequency Band to Activate GPRS: Step1 Access the phone's settings from the phone's main menu. Note: In countries outside of the United States or North America, you typically need to use the 900 MHz/1800 MHz frequency to get a GPRS signal from one of the mobile providers in another country. Step 2 Click the Network option from the menu that appears. Step 3 Select Band to begin the band selection. Step 4 Click on the band option that you want to activate a GPRS connection, such as 850/1900, 900/1800 or automatic if you are uncertain of the GPRS band. Step5 Turn the device off and then back on if it does not automatically select the band and you have selected the automatic option. Create a Network Connection to Activate GPRS Step1 Access the main menu on the phone to get to the settings menu. Step 2 Click Network, and then Network Setup (which usually appears as an option but depends on your model of phone). Step 3 Select Manual or Automatic. Note: You want to set your phone's option to Automatic so you can establish a GPRS connection with your mobile provider. However, select Manual if you want to choose a different network. Step 4 Make sure that your phone connects and you can begin to make calls. Reset the Phone to Activate GPRS Step1 Pull the battery out of your phone while it is turned on.
