FAQ

1.Can you offer the test report of the module?

A:Sure. All the solar modules must pass necessary tests including EL test and ultra-red test and other visual test of the appearance, and the test report presents all the detailed data of the modules.

2. How  to confirm about the quantity and the type of solar module?

A:It depends on the solar system where  you want to put into use the solar modules. We have experienced engineers to design for your order and you need to give more information to fix the details.

Q: Can I fet free solar panels. This site okorder sells a book that tells how to, but I ordered tha book more then a year a go, and in never came. I even sent them a email a day for more then 3 months and never heard back from them. If anyone knows how to get free pannels, please let me know how. A $300.00 a month bill is slowly killing me.
Do not touch free solar panels with a barge pole. The installer keeps the feed-in tariff and owns the panels on your roof, a problem when you come to sell the house. Your only benefit is the free use of the electricity generated, if you happen to be in, or use time clocks, on dish washer, washing machine etc. My system has a target of 6 kWh per day. At 43.3p per unit this is a theoretical payment of ?6.92 a day. All you could gain, assuming you use every available kWh generated, would be ?.92, assuming a tariff of 2 p per kWh. The feed-in tariff goes down for new installations next April. In my opinion its a good buy, and should show an 8% return on our investment. I would not like to give the main benefit to someone else.
Q: Hi All,I need some resources for a research project i'm doing on Solar Panels/Cells.So do you know of any good books or online materials that basically covers how solar cellwork from level 0 to calculating the energy output based on intensity of the light and the area of the panel. Book titles will be preferable but i'd like to build a strong base before tackling long and complicated formula(s)... so any suggestions? Your help will be appreciated :)THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
My guess is that you must pick up everything that have to do with solar power at www.okorder .
Q: I have a 2 volt deep cylce Everstart battery with 845 cranking amps, and a Grape Solar GS-S-250-Fab5 250-Watt Monocrystalline Solar Panel . I use them to power a 48Flat screen TV, a Roku, my 65 watt consuming MacBook Pro, and a 65 watt Fan.I know from previous experience that just the battery, an inverter, and the fan, that the fan will blow for 0 hours straight.Should I really be concerned with a Charge Controller?
Should I really be concerned with a Charge Controller? Yes. The main purpose of the charge controller is to protect the battery from over charging. Over charging reduces battery life. And spending extra money for a MPPT type controller will get more more useable power out of your solar panel. Would another battery of the same magnitude be helpful in preventing an accident? How much storage capacity does your current battery have (measured in kWH)? A ~$20 Kill-a-Watt meter would take a lot of uncertainty out of how much power you actually use. Even deep cycle batteries suffer reduced battery life from deep discharges. The battery sounds too small for the loads you describe so I would think you would want more. ---------------------------------------... After reading the other answer In a nutshell, with your small 2 volt starting battery, 24 volt panel and a mix of unknown loads, (which is correct), I thought I would elaborate. I had not considered the possibility that you bought a 24 volt panel for your 2 volt battery. Hooking the panel you bought directly to the current battery is a horrible idea. I you were lucky it would just cook the battery in a short period of time. You basically bought the wrong type of panel for a 2 volt system. I assume that there are no controllers on the the market for this situation. If that's the case, I don't know of any good way match the 24v panel to the 2 volt battery.
Q: I want to know how to hook up a Solartech SPM020P-R, 20W Solar Panel to a single outlet that you can but at a store.
That panel you reference puts out about 20W. @ 8V of DC. You can't wire that to a standard 20V outlet without a battery/inverter unit. Even then, you don't get a useful amount of power. In a full day you would collect enough energy to run a small TV for about an hour.
Q: Thanks
Solar energy is a renewable energy resource and there are no fuel costs. No harmful polluting gases are produced. Disadvantages Solar cells are expensive and inefficient, so the cost of their electricity is high. Solar panels may only produce very hot water in very sunny climates, and in cooler areas may need to be supplemented with a conventional boiler. Although warm water can be produced even on cloudy days, neither solar cells nor solar panels work at night.
Q: Can solar panels be used for powering a museum or cultural institution?
Yes, solar panels can certainly be used to power a museum or cultural institution. Solar panels generate electricity by converting sunlight into energy, and this renewable energy source can effectively meet the power needs of such establishments. By installing solar panels on the building's roof or in nearby open spaces, museums and cultural institutions can reduce their dependence on traditional energy sources, lower their carbon footprint, and potentially even generate excess electricity that can be fed back into the grid. Additionally, embracing solar power aligns with the sustainable and environmentally conscious image often associated with these institutions.
Q: Installing solar panels requires a big initial investment. Before I make this investment I want to check to see if the money I will save by installing solar panels will actually pay for this investment, in the long run. To calculate my savings, we should consider the area (square feet) I currently have available to install solar panels. Look at the available sunlight and its intensity in my state each month of the year. Based on this data estimate how much energy my solar panel will generate. Then compare that with how much energy (kWh) I currently consume based on my electricity bill.
SIMPLE, EASY WAY TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH IT WILL COST. Everyone has great answers, but here is a website that will do all the thinking for you. Go to: mercator.nrel /imby All you have to do is to locate your property on the map, draw the outline of the solar array, and then click Run. It will estimate: - Cost - Available Rebates - Tax Credits - Estimated payback This program is operated by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Good luck!
Q: Can solar panels be installed in areas prone to hurricanes or tornadoes?
Yes, solar panels can be installed in areas prone to hurricanes or tornadoes. However, additional precautions and engineering considerations need to be taken to ensure their durability and resistance against strong winds and potential impact from debris. This can include using reinforced mounting systems, implementing proper anchoring techniques, and selecting panels that meet stringent wind load requirements.
Q: Interested in buying solar panels to save on electric bill.Any government help plans?
Check with your Power Company, ours has had several $$$ Incentive Programs that they get involved with,Federal,State, and Private Sector. Just about anything High efficiency or Electrical saving, including Solar.
Q: I have two solar panels and I have measured that they produce V by themselves. I am trying to generate .5V, but whenever I hook them up in parallel I get something like .02V. What it happening?
You are probably wiring them incorrectly: with the positive on panel A connected to negative on panel B; and the negative on panel A connected to the positive on panel B. If you want then connected in parallel, connect the positive on panel A to the positive on panel B and the negative on panel A connected to the negative on panel B. But you will only get vdc. You can't get .5 volts from two volt sources. You can get 2 volts by connecting the panels in series.
