FAQ

1.Can you offer the test report of the module?

A:Sure. All the solar modules must pass necessary tests including EL test and ultra-red test and other visual test of the appearance, and the test report presents all the detailed data of the modules.

2. How  to confirm about the quantity and the type of solar module?

A:It depends on the solar system where  you want to put into use the solar modules. We have experienced engineers to design for your order and you need to give more information to fix the details.

Q: I am trying to built a circuit that will power two USB ports (both 5V and 0.5 amps) from the output of a solar panel that produces 20V at 0.2 amps. I have a voltage regulator that runs at 5v and 0.5 amps but I can't figure out the best way to boost the current up to 0.5 amps before I incorporate the voltage regulators.
If you want to power both USB ports at the same times, It might not be possibble. Your solar panel only supplies 2.24 Watts (20V * 0.2A) of power and you need to deliver 2.5 Watts (5V * 0.5A) to the ports. Subtracting any losses from your regulator(s), you will be WAY over your power budget. You will need more of a solar panel or less of a load.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on agricultural land?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on agricultural land. In fact, it is a common practice to utilize agricultural land for solar energy projects. This dual use of land allows farmers to generate additional income from leasing their land for solar panel installations while continuing their agricultural activities. Moreover, solar panels can provide shade to crops, reduce water evaporation, and improve overall farm sustainability.
Q: I'm curious, for those who have had solar panels installed on the rooves of their houses:How much did you pay? How much energy do the panels produce? Did it dramatically cut down on your electricity bill? Was it worth it? Thanks!
Is an SUV worth it? I have passed many of them off in the ditch while my 2wd truck keeps going on icy roads. Unless you own a company and need the SUV it will never pay for itself. Is a huge house worth it? I can live in a 8X6 foot house perfectly well. Unless you rent rooms out in the large house it will never pay for itself. Solar panels are statements to others like a house or vehicle, except they will actually pay for themselves over many years. Don't expect to get rich off them, but look at it as doing your part to cut down on pollution, become more self sufficient or whatever. The exception is if you build a house far from the grid. A friend was quoted $40,000 per mile to install grid tied power to her house out in the woods. Solar panels paid for themselves the first year there.
Q: I've built a set of lights, fan and a clock running on only solar power. The problem is, i have to present it tomorrow and when the light isn't particularly strong it won't work too well. It works flawlessly when its under my desk light on max brightness but the only the light works when i set it to low brightness. Currently, tomorrow in my city it won't be sunny so any advice for trying to make it work under low light?
Solar panels are designed to be used to recharge a battery or series of batteries, not for direct power. That is the inherent weakness of solar systems. The only way to have it work in low light conditions if to have several cells wired in series and have a voltage regulator to limit the amount of voltage that can be supplied. Other than that, add a battery and a charging circuit that the cell would supply power to.
Q: what parts and tool do i need to build and connect a solar electric panel to my home
Dear Matadora, Very good, good, good step to change your home electric supply to solar cell, because in long run, solar cell is cheaper. First you have to consider Power need for your house, eg. 200W, then you go to sellers and choose one with lowest price but best quality. After that you should assemble/attach your solar panel in place that gets most Sunlight, most probably in your roof. Attach them tightly, avoid burglar. Original solar cell current is DC. Current from solar cell placed first in several car batteries, so you could use electricity in night either. After that if your home appliances use DC, you could directly connect your appliances to batteries. But if your appliances need AC, current should be converted first from DC to AC use DC to AC converter. Car battery used to have 2 Volt DC. So if you need 220VAC, after DC converted into AC, then passed through transformer to increase voltage. Thank you very much Matadora.
Q: How do solar panels affect the value of a home?
Solar panels can significantly increase the value of a home. They offer long-term cost savings on electricity bills and can generate additional income through net metering or selling excess energy back to the grid. Additionally, solar panels are environmentally friendly, which appeals to many buyers and can make a property more attractive in the market.
Q: I got a really great deal on 2 houses because they were fixer-uppers. I'm living in one and the other I'm renting out. However, the previous owner did everything himself in 950 95, so needless to say, things are not to todays standards. Both houses need rewiring (there are no ceiling lights, few outlets, and mine has two old fuse boxes and the other has a breaker box but it pops the breaker a lot). The only reason they are still functional is because both houses use natural gas for water and heat, so otherwise, they electrical work is getting us by, but who knows for how long. I thought that maybe instead of redoing the electric, that I could just add solar panels to compensate for the small electric boxes. Also, since I would have to hire electricians to do all the work, which would be more cost effective (not including the decrease in utilities since I don't pay the utilities in the rental anyways)?
A solar panel does not replace the wiring in your house. All it does is supply power to the house, the same way a line in from the street does. After the power gets to the house, regardless of how it got to your house, it goes through exactly the same wiring to get to outlets and lights. Your problem is not that the power coming in from the street is insufficient; the power company can supply all you'd ever need. The problem is that your houses are not wired to receive or use more power. You need to upgrade the service panel so it can bring more power into the house, and upgrade the wiring inside the walls so you have the number of outlets and lights required by today's codes and which most of us need for all the things we plug in these days. Solar panels, while they are cheaper than ever, are not a low cost thing to install. It will take years to recover their cost, and if the rules are the same where you are as they are here, you can't use the cost of installing them as a write-off against the cost of the house until you sell it. They are a capital expense, not a maintenance and repair deduction which you can use each year against the income you receive from the rental. Doing a conventional rewiring is your best bet.
Q: hey, i am wanting to help our earth a little bit, and I was wondering how to do a solar panel connection for powering my home.... i just want to reduce my energy bill a little bit, Would these solar panels work?and how would i connect them?
Hello, Yes you definitely can use this kind of panels. Powering your home entirely will be an issue if you are not familiar with solar energy and electricity in general. If it's the case I'm afraid you'll need a specialist. The basic principle of a solar power system: - Solar panel to charge the batteries - DC to AC converter that will convert the DC voltage from your battery to AC voltage so that you can connect regular home appliances like lights or TV.
