- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a residential community or housing development?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a residential community or housing development. In fact, many residential communities and housing developments are incorporating solar panels as a sustainable and cost-effective energy solution. Installing solar panels on rooftops or open spaces within the community can generate clean energy, reduce electricity bills, and contribute to a greener environment.
- Q: solar panels!!they are fantastic! cause they are the new way of quot;chargingyour home, without killing the earth!would you install them, or not? and make sure you say WHY
- If your house was not built to include solar panels, it may encounter problems that most people do not consider. For example, your neighbor may plant trees nearby and they could shade your panels. Your house may not have good alignment with the sun, so your net hours of sunshine may be too small. If your local planning folks allow panels and your house is oriented properly to the sun and no trees will block the sun, I suspect it will be a good investment long term. Still the up front cost is high. I feel that common folk like myself would be better served if we could buy shares in our local power company by purchasing a number of panels ... offered and installed by them ... and that we would then get a net monitoring of both our own electrical use and a reduction on our electric bill for the portion of our investment. That way, it seems we could each make a small investment in solar and add to that investment as we earn more money ... and essentially eliminate the need for new centralized power plants. How many malls does your city have that are completely empty and could be returned to the community as a mini power plant site. My city is loaded with malls that nobody uses anymore. Businesses move and and fail because nobody goes there. They go to the new more sexy malls. Several of these outdated malls have power lines running directly through their empty parking lots. Why not have community solar investments in these sites? Every building could include solar panels and the entire parking lot could be covered with panels. The inside of the building could still be used for other routine purposes. The local power company would be the perfect organizer and maintainer. This way solar would not be so expensive. The cost would be shared by many and so would the rewards.
- Q: Are solar panels a good investment?
- Yes, solar panels are a good investment. They offer long-term financial benefits through reduced electricity bills, potential tax incentives, and increased property value. Additionally, they contribute to a cleaner environment by reducing carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
- Q: Hi. I have been looking into getting solar panals but I only want them for one room. See, we're expanding the house by adding a basement, the basement isn't going to be that big but we wanted to have solar energy for the basement only. Could anyone give me a rough estimate on the cost of solar panals for my basement?
- Only after you give an estimate of the power consumption you will have in the basement. Obviously you do not have a clue about solar panels or their usage. Suggest you find a book and start reading.
- Q: what are solar panels?
- Solar Panels collect solar energy from the sun and then solar energy is used to produce electricity.
- Q: Do solar panels produce noise?
- No, solar panels do not produce noise as they generate electricity without any moving parts.
- Q: i want to instal solar ligth in my garden

- Q: Can solar panels be installed on train stations?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on train stations. In fact, many train stations around the world are adopting solar energy systems to power their operations and reduce their carbon footprint. Solar panels are installed on the roofs or canopies of train stations to harness sunlight and generate electricity, which can be used for lighting, heating, cooling, and other station facilities. This renewable energy source makes train stations more sustainable and helps in the transition towards a greener transportation system.
- Q: i was reading the popular science magazine and i saw that they might make a Sun Powered it Absolutely NOT possible to make a car with a Solar Panel? I dont see any harm in making it..
- it's possible, but the oil company don't want you to, besides solar-powered cars need to be quite big to have those panels mounted on to provide the needed power, thus it'll take up alot of space on the road. they can't be as powerful as gas-powered cars in terms of speed hauling power. maybe they should make 2-seaters for city users, that'll cut down on the pollution ease up the gas prices. of course, they can make a hybrid car that uses an alternative power, like gas/solar or dry cell/solar to solve the problem... parking-meters with a power-plugs for you to recharge while you park.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on drones?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on drones. They can be used to harness solar energy and power the drone's onboard systems, increasing flight time and reducing reliance on traditional battery power. This technology is being explored for various applications, including surveillance, delivery services, and environmental monitoring.
