I've just recently started tanning for health reasons.The bed I use is a lay-down one and very basic with the time control on the outside of the bed.When I try to close it all the way, it makes a clicking sound and simply will not completely close as hard as I pull.There is a circular fan in the room so that it will cool you off in the bed, which leads me to believe it's not meant to close all of the way, but I'm not sure. I'm not trying to preach but you really don't want to do that to yourself.

Q: What is the best bedding i can get for my Ball Python?: I would never use newspaper for a ball python even though it is cheap is will stress it out if you just got it.I would recommend aspen wood shavings.The reason I would never use newspaper even though it is supper cheap it doesn't have enough for you ball python.If he is cared he wants to get away as fast as he can and with newspaper it will slow him down due to lack of traction.This is in my expedience with ball pythons. I always use aspen bedding but what ever you can use like pelted paper works good too.Try to stay away from the newspaper until you ball python is none stressed.
