- For years my bed sat on top of some draws that used to be the platform of my waterbed. Check some garage sales, if you can find a set or two of those it worked great, and very low cost. And you don't have to worry about legs on the bed's box springs, just set the bed on top of the box or drawers you find.

- Bed bugs are easy to detect when they are adults but not so easy to see when they are smaller. The thing about bed bugs is they don't want to be seen and hide very well. If you think you have bed bugs do not wait. Call a bed bug exterminator that specializes in bed bug eradication and have them do an inspection which is usually free. Have them show you the evidence and/or the bed bugs. The evidence is small black dots on your mattress, bed frame, behind pictures, along baseboards and window frames.

- My sons shared a bunk bed an this is what I learned: A bunk bed is the size of a twin mattress: 39 wide by 76 long. Bunk beds do not have box springs. Some bunk beds have ample support in the platform where the mattress rests and can accommodate a regular twin mattress. Other bunk beds require bunk bed mattresses, which have their own support system built into the bottom section of the actual mattress. Hope this clarifies the difference between the two.
