- try using apple bitters... its a deterant that comes in a spray bottle. he wont want to bite it if it tastes bad. i hope that helps :)

- Carefresh is a good bedding but it is so expensive. I used to use it for my piggies but then switched to shavings and I find them much better as they are more absorbent. You can even get them lavender scented which is lovely. I suggest you get shavings as that will save you a lot of money. I also have two female guinea pigs and they are happy with the shavings as bedding.
