- The primary forms of machinery are: Hydraulic, mechanical and electric. 1) Robotics can use all of these forms of machinery. 2) In electronics, a speaker can produce sound from motion. So the activity might be a Rock band. ;-)

- The biggest advantage is the amount of power in a given space. Hyd systems typically operate at 2000psi and up, compared to about 80psi for pneumatic. Also, since fluid is non compressible, the moement distance can be linear. Many aircraft, and industrial equipment now use electric servos instead of hydraulics. Biggest problem with hydraulics is leaks. 2nd biggest problem is continuous power consumption to the pump. Lots of air power is used in industry, so it is the easiest way to move or clamp anything, with nothing more than an air cylinder and a valve. Each system has it's place to do different things.

- This is the answer I gave another asker of the same question. brake horse power of an engine is the actual amount of horse power an engine can put out. Using 745.5 watts as a horse power, the engine will supply the equivalent of 30 times 745.7 watts at 30 brake horse power. This is 22,371watts. The generator is supplying 20 Kw or 20,000 watts. The difference in the engine output and the generator output is 22,371 minus 20,000 or 2.371 watts. I don't see how the answer is 1039 watts, if my calculations are correct. Perhaps someone else will have the answer you seek. I may be missing something in your question.

Example: the man who is talking about finding his queen and we think he is talking about a woman but no he is talking about a sofa. 2.) - Yes actually I believe it is also. I went from calling my mother like 6 times a day to sending her and my little sister IM's on Yahoo Messenger, and hitting up their myspace's. We do it more and more since she moved from where I am in Massachusetts to Georgia. Also, I Google everything. A Dictionary, Thesaurus, Phone Book, even Bible I can look up all the information online.

- It depends on the problems you are referring to. Mental problems may have a biochemical basis. If the right medicine is provided the machinery may function properly. If a person is acting awry due to abuse in their past it could be the machinery of their environment is malfunctioning. But people are biological machines if I may borrow that term from Captain Picard of the starship Enterprise. He was comparing humans to Data the humanoid robot.
- Q:I'm an aspiring artist and think that cutting gemstones would be really cool and fun. Are there any non-expensive tools that I could use to get a feel for the art? I looked online for awhile, and it seems the only way is to grind gems is on a grinding wheel, and that freaks me out somewhat ;-) . Also, what gems would you recommend for my first try? - You've picked an expensive material to play with. You don't need a grinding wheel, but it's a lot faster than doing it by hand. there are also any number of spinning tools which come with polishing and cutting heads for under forty bucks.
