TYHI’s transport crawlers are available in 1,200 ton, 850 ton, 600 ton and 350 ton models. They can be used for the movement of equipment in opencast mining, mobile/semi-mobile crushing stations, movable tape loading end stations and winning track transformer stations.
Our transport crawlers include a crawler unit, underframe, lifting platform, lifting cylinder, diesel engine system, hydraulic system, electrical control system and cab. The main power of our crawlers is supplied by the diesel engine, which drives the hydraulic pump through the transfer case. With help of hydraulic system, the crawler moving, tensioning, plateform lifting, rotating and clamping can be realized. A clamping hoist driven by hydraulic cylinder each near to the four corners of the upper plateform on the crawler are equipped to fix the equipment, which is ready to transport. During the transportation, the upper plateform angle can be adjusted according to the slope. The equipment can remain in the specified horizontal range, so that the transported equipment is safe. The inclinometer is equipped in the crawler to guarantee the crawler can not use beyond the specified sloop.
The centralized lubricating system of our transport carriers supplies lubricating oil to each driving part. The cabs are equipped with air conditioners. There are two handles on the driver seat which are separately used to control the travel of the two tracks. The travel speed is divided into three gears, and can be continually adjusted. The control panel in the front of the cab integrates all the other control buttons and display information.

- For a good permanent repair, you need to solder in a coupling. Cut out the section with the hole in it on the damaged pipe. Cut close on both sides of the hole to minimize the amount of pipe being cut out. Grab some sand paper and clean both tips on both halves of the pipe. Also clean the inside of the coupling. Apply flux to all the sanded areas that will be joined. Slip the coupling onto both halves of the pipe, and apply heat from a propane torch to the fitting. Once it gets hot enough, apply solder to the seam on both sides of the coupling. The solder will be drawn into the fitting creating a permanent seal. This is easiest if you have play in the pipe and can easily move it. It may be anchored down. If so, remove the anchors to give yourself play to join the pipes together. Remember, you're making the pipe slightly shorter since your are cutting out a small piece. That's why you need to cut close to the hole.
- Q: I am weeding and gardening a border in front of a chain link fence for a customer. There are quite a few weeds in the area that consists of soil crusher run/gravel. The border is about 2.5 feet wide by 50 feet long. We are thinking about renting a rototiller to help remove the weeds. Is this feasible? Is there another method that would work best?

- If it is factory installed go to the dealer. If it is aftermarket, you will need to know the brand and model number. If it's a generic brand you may not be able to get a replacement remote easily. Name brand alarms will have the model number on the brain which will be located somewhere under the dash normally on the drivers side. Go to a shop that deals in automotive security and they can help you locate and order a new remote as well as program it to your alarm for you.

- The 'rust colored' brake dust was hot when it hit your rims - so it has 'baked' on for lack of a better term. I am assuming that they are just alloy rims (not chrome plated or painted). If you go to a local car detailer (or call one in the yellow pages) they have a chemical cleaner that works better then anything you can buy locally (and no, I can't remember the name of it). If your rims are chrome plated or painted alloy then steel wool is a big no-no. If they are just alloy, you could use the steel wool and then buy a polising kit (one with a pad that you insert into your electric drill) and then polish the rims after you steel wool the brake dust off.
