1.   Application

Magnetically controlledarc-suppression coil of XHDT-series (MCASC) as a new generation of arc-suppressioncoils (ASC) is developed and manufactured newly by the Dandong Xintai ElectricCo., LTD (Xintai), is mainly used in neutral un-earthed power systems of 66kVand under, compensates capacitive current produced during single phase earthingshort-circuit in the power system by using inductive current of arc-suppressioncoil, rapidly extinguishes the interrupted earth arc without restriking inorder to prevent the expansion of the scope of the accident.

MCASC is different fromordinary turn-regulation type ASC, because it achievesfast response and continuous adjustable of ASC inductance by the combination ofthe modern electronic control technology and two-stage magnetic saturationtechnology and by using the operating mode of auto-type DC excitation. By usingdynamic full compensation method, it fundamentally solves inherent conflictbetween the ideal goal of full compensation and the system virtual groundcaused by series resonance. The product has passed the Authentication of State-levelNew Product Production and the Liaoning Provincial Sci-Tech Achievement Appraisal, and is awarded the utility model patent issued by the State IntellectualProperty Office (SIPO).

Q: I'm 14 and I go to a technical highschool, I'm in hvac because I missed electrical by 1 person, if I get the chance should I switch to electrical? I already have my tools and uniform.
What interests you the most? There is employment in both fields, and both pay good. You'll have to be a journeyman, no matter what before you get a master's license. I would frankly stick with HVAC because you will learn electrical stuff as you go along. I worked as a technician on food service equipment and vending machines for 20 years. There are a LOT of HVAC technicians and refrigeration technicians who also hold electrical licenses, but very few electricians who have licenses in any other area than electrical.
Q: I'm comparing the GP 6500 with 389 cc engine (splash lubrication) to the XG 6500 with a 410 cc industrial engine (oil pump pump lubrication). I would be using it for home emergency use, so I doubt I really need the industrial engine with oil pump. Over 10 years it will probably only get 100 hours on the engine mostly at a consistent 50% load with occasional short term peaks closer to max (toaster, sump pump coffee pot, etc). So I'm leaning towards the cheaper GP. But want to consider the following:Are they both easy to pull start? The biggest engine I pull start is my snowblower with a 250cc OHV Briggs. But when starting only the engine is turned, i.e. it's not engaged to the snowblower yet. The hardest thing I have to start is my power washer with a 160cc OHV Kohler. I think because it's directly connected to the pump which makes it harder to start. Is the XG industrial engine quieter than the GP engine?

Q: By non related I mean like not a minor in another engineering or computer science. I was thinking about possibly business. What do you think would be the best minor that would give me a better salary/job opportunity?
Electrical Engineering is one of the hardest disciplines that you can undertake. It also, with experience, gives you a good credential for a powerful resume but, like most things, you need to be unique to maximize its value! Of course Electrical Engineering applies to many trades and professions, it is the true unique combination that makes the most powerful overall impact. Examples might be; EE and Law, EE and Medical, EE and Business, or EE and Aviation! An industry that dose a lot of research and development of medical equipment and is pron to large law suits would love to have an EE with a minor in Law and maybe a Dual major with a ME Degree as 50% of medical equipment is fluids! Controls are 90% electrical! An understanding of what generates most law suits and what defaults would reduce those possibilities would be very sought after. Don't forget to obtain the PE as this is what gives you the right to not only design but verify and authorize the design! It is an attractive addition to the EE degree but also comes with a lot of responsibility! The PE also implies experience and will take time to acquire! The really rare beast is the Engineer that can communicate in writing and face to face! Giving a technical presentation that informs, inspires, and persuades is rare and there are few Engineers that can accomplish it!!! Toastmasters is an International organization that you can use to hone your communication skills. It has inexpensive dues and you don't sell brooms or anything or do community service but you do work toward your goals of being an expert communicator!!!. When you come up with the combination of skills, make sure that they are who you are for they will be the image that you will project and what people will view you as and you want it to reflect who you really are!

Q: I am looking into putting a trailer hitch on my truck so that we can move. But I get a little bit confused when the mechanic starts talking about electrical equipment. Do I want a round 7 or a flat 4 or both? And is it necessary to also install a trailer brake controller?

Q: i just got into tech school for USAF as an aerospace ground equipment apprentice and was wandering if this is a good job? what kind of things can i expect to be doing everyday? is there a good chance i will get deployed to iraq? i would appreciate any advice anyone has. thanks

Q: I am currently going to school to study Engineering. I want to become an Electrical Engineer, but recently, I've heard about Electronics Engineering. I did telecommunications in the US military and dealt with small circuits and RF communications equipment. This all falls under Electronics Engineering.I've been trying to find more info on Electronics Engineering, but can't seem to find if it is a separate degree program from Electrical Engineering. My school only lists:Electrical Engineering Computer ScienceElectrical Engineering Computer Sci - Materials Sci EngineeringElectrical Engineering Computer Sci - Nuclear EngineeringHow would I go about becoming an Electronics Engineer?
Many institutions do not make a distinction. But 'electrical' engineering deals with components that work at the line (mains) frequency, generally large in scale, power generators, high power transformers, very high voltages etc. 'Electronics' engineering deals with components over a large bandwidth, DC and up, generally small in scale, relatively lower power, lower voltages and small size. You probably want 'Electrical Engineering Computer Science'.
Q: give formulas and explanation both
In general, mechanical efficiency is the ratio of the work input to the work output. There is always some frictional looses that require extra work input to overcome. Electrical efficiency is the ratio of power input to power output. There are always copper losses in any electrical equipment. These are basic differences and definitions. The basic formulas are efficiency output / input, using either work or watts. TexMav
Q: I am a freshman electrical engineering student and I have been given an assignment in which I have to write a 2 page paper about electrical engineering drawings. The paper has to include specific requirements for drawings in this field of engineering, any standards that are used, and any drawing codes that should be included in a typical drawing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Certain groups like NASA, the US government, etc have specific requirements for all drawing including electrical drawings. Some engineering companies and industrial companies have standards as well. Basically any engineering drawing has to address to tasks to be done, the materials and equipment to be used, the codes and standards to be met, and any specific requirements that are over and above common practice. A specific requirement might be something like stating the color coding for wiring that could be unsual. Look at the results of a simple online search for more information.
Q: Affect Health? Noise problem?
Depends on the devices, I lived below a cell tower (literally 1m over head, installed on the top of my building). After doing as much research as I could on it, I found that no one really knows for certain the effects of radio waves on humans. If your major concern is just large voltage electricals, the greatest risks are fire, a small magnetic field might interfere with your devices occasionally, and constant low hum.
