1. Application
Magnetically controlledarc-suppression coil of XHDT-series (MCASC) as a new generation of arc-suppressioncoils (ASC) is developed and manufactured newly by the Dandong Xintai ElectricCo., LTD (Xintai), is mainly used in neutral un-earthed power systems of 66kVand under, compensates capacitive current produced during single phase earthingshort-circuit in the power system by using inductive current of arc-suppressioncoil, rapidly extinguishes the interrupted earth arc without restriking inorder to prevent the expansion of the scope of the accident.
MCASC is different fromordinary turn-regulation type ASC, because it achievesfast response and continuous adjustable of ASC inductance by the combination ofthe modern electronic control technology and two-stage magnetic saturationtechnology and by using the operating mode of auto-type DC excitation. By usingdynamic full compensation method, it fundamentally solves inherent conflictbetween the ideal goal of full compensation and the system virtual groundcaused by series resonance. The product has passed the Authentication of State-levelNew Product Production and the Liaoning Provincial Sci-Tech Achievement Appraisal, and is awarded the utility model patent issued by the State IntellectualProperty Office (SIPO).

- Q: if you was recently shocked twice (bad enough that it went all the way from your fingers down to your toes) and then you had a headache and an occasional shooting pain through your arm would there be any reason for concern or is that just normal?and also, would there be any chance, that when you're touching water and metal in a very cold atmosphere (35degrees or so) that static electricity could cause that bad of a shock or would it definetly have to be some certain of electrical wiring problem?
- It does not cause electrical shock but the salt can burn or irritate their paws. Walk her, just make sure you clean her feet off afterwards if she walks where salt has been put down. Edit: What the article is saying is if there's water laying over a defective electrical line, salt will help conduct the electricity. That's kind of far fetched, how often do you come across exposed electrical wires? Just walk your dog on the sidewalk and keep it away from puddles and construction areas. Common sense stuff.
- Q: I'm 14 and I go to a technical highschool, I'm in hvac because I missed electrical by 1 person, if I get the chance should I switch to electrical? I already have my tools and uniform.
- What interests you the most? There is employment in both fields, and both pay good. You'll have to be a journeyman, no matter what before you get a master's license. I would frankly stick with HVAC because you will learn electrical stuff as you go along. I worked as a technician on food service equipment and vending machines for 20 years. There are a LOT of HVAC technicians and refrigeration technicians who also hold electrical licenses, but very few electricians who have licenses in any other area than electrical.
- Q: I have a 1 inch plastic conduit and am running about 100 feet underground?
- You best safe guard is to use UTP for the wiring - that way you will be sure there will be no hassles
- Q: If one of the two metal things on a electrical cord is larger than the other, but the holes in the outlet are the same size so it won't fit, is it okay to force it in?
- The holes on the outlet are never the same as dictated by code. You may not be able to detect the difference but they are different. The purpose for the blades to be the same size is to ensure that your connection is properly polarized.
- Q: I'm enlisted and my MOS is 15Y (Armament/Electrical/Avionics Repairer). I'm going to BCT on 20100203 and AIT right after at Ft. Eustis. I'm excited about learning about armament and avionics. I feel proud and privileged to have a chance to work on the numero uno attack helicopter in the world. I want to know how hard it is to get this MOS(no disrespect to other MOS') I have 3 questions in regards to this1) How does 15Y training look like and can I get a head start for the subjects taught right away.2) I would like to go overseas as a first preference, a warzone where I'm needed the most, but also what is the best non combat station to serve in for this MOS overseas and in United States respectively.3) I'm a college graduate(non-citizen pending citizenship in 6 months) and I would like to go to OCS by the end of 2010. Please let me know the best route to do it.Thank you.
- The MOS system has changed completely since I was in the Army but I would stay away from MP. The rank is frozen there because there are a lot of people in that MOS and rank is so very slow. Choose a field you can use in the private sector and one where you will make your rank as soon as you have time in grade. Let the Army send you to school and learn a new and useful occupation. Don't go in as a foot soldier. They make rank alright but big deal. Don't listen to the recruiter. He's not there for your benefit
- Q: hiwhenever there are clouds, lightning or clouds sparks strikes my house and damage my electrical equipments like tv, fan, lights. my house has an entrance from south side and have windows, doors openings from this side, i also have openings in north direction to access to my back verandah but no sparks fall from this side. The house have 3' high iron bars fencing at front wall of 5' height as well as on rear wall of 5'-6 height. Do i need to put one 1'-6 high lightning rod made up of copper and aluminium and placed it on the roof top of my house to arrest these lightning sparks whenever they fall or some lightning arrester or you have any good solution of my problem. my house is 39' wide and 52' in length and 33' high(including ground floor, first floor, second floor) and have flat roof top and its in haryana region. please suggest me what to do? i will be really grateful to youthanksbye
- You Have the answer in your question you basically have to use a lightning arrestor an top of your house. But make sure that the earthing of it must be separate from your house earthing and try to maintain a earth voltage around 1Vlts preferably below 1 Volt. For more information on lightning arrestors go to the link below.
- Q: definition
- that girl really waffles on.an rcd monitors current flow between active and neutral. If an imbalance is detected between active and neutral it will mean that this imbalance is travelling to earth. The rcd's sensing equipment detects this leakage current and operates the release mechanism in turn switching off the power supply provided the leakage is equal or greater than the rcd rating ie 30mA
- Q: For a treadmill.I could get a manual for reallly cheap but I had my heart set on an electrical one.I've never really used a manual oneWhat do you think?
- Electrical is way better. Check your local paper, Craig's List and OKorder for good used treadmills. You will be surprised how many are on the market. It is not because they are not any good. The problems arise when someone decides that they want to get in shape. They think that they will buy a treadmill, run a few miles and the fat will fall off of them. When this doesn't happen, they quickly get discouraged and sell their equipment.
- Q: 1 artificial permanent 2 electromagnetic3 natural
- I suppose they all do; Electromagnets are probably the most useful as they can be switched on and off instantaneously. They are used in motors, loudspeakers, relays, televisions etc. artificial permanent magnets can also be found in electric motors, loudspeakers, reed switches etc. As far as i can think natural magnets don't have many applications. but they could be used to make loudspeakers, motors and to operate reed switches for sure. So in short, they all have several applications in electrical equipment. Sorry not to be of more help.
- Q: I am planning to buy a big guitar amp from america and you dont want to mess around with something as powerful as that so i want to know is there suitable adapters out there for such a job? because i heard that some electrical equipment from America will eventually burn out if you use it in Ireland!!help!?!?!
- As long as you get a proper adapter that can handle the load, you should be fine
