If the sink auger does not work you can remove the p-trap under the sink and usually find something is stopping it up. It will be easy to unclog the trap once it has been removed. The bath sinks usually get clogged up with hair but you may have to take some pipes apart to really get at the problem. The ones under the sink usually are made to do this fairly easily. You may have to rent a motorized snake from a rental center to make some headway on this. The motorized snakes really are effective and inexpensive to rent. But before renting try the removal of the p trap under the sink and snaking the drain from there.

Dry fit everything before you permanently install it especially the PVC or metal drain parts. It is much easier to install the faucet before you drop in the sink or place the modeled counter top sink in place. There are special considerations for a pedestal sink.
