Q: Equipment Used in the house.Room in the house___________Equipmenta. bathroomb. kitchenc. living roomd. bedroomgive the Equipment of room in the house
You too eh? I've had to get 2 new tvs, a new computer, had my xbox 360 fixed twice, 2 new mp3 players, a new dvd player and a new alarm clock in the last 8 months. The electronics fairy has curseth me.
Q: I just moved into a house a week ago and for the past couple of days weird things have been happening. The night before last my tv in my bedroom changed channel by itself and also I had a playstation remote sitting on top of my playstation and that fell on its own. Last night I was laying in bed and my door opened by itself and I am 100% sure that it was shut all the way. And again in the middle of the night it changed channel. I'm starting to get scared because all of this happens when my boyfriend is at work and its just me and my two boys. Is my house haunted, and what can I do?Btw my house is probably 100 years old.
First lets look at the debunking side, some electrical equipment can have the same frequency, therefore operating that other item can change the channel, unless a neighbor lives near by and he is operation his TV and through the windows your TV changes. Since you just recently moved, things will seem different, and did you put the play station flat, or because it wasn't stored correctly it fell. New home and doors may operate differently, especially since it's an old house, the door will usually swing one way, and some just takes a small amont of wind, air vent whatever. First check out all these things and see if you can ascertain if any reason why this is happening and if you squarely cannot debink it, then perhaps it is paranormal.I am a big believer in the spiritual world since I have seen so many of them, and made communications.in the fifty years of experiences one one was a bad spirit.so I don't worry when I find out a home is haunted, I have actually made friends with one because she is that nice to me. So perhaps it's a good spirit looking over you and does these things to allow you to know it's there.
Q: I'm a fresh grad licensed electrical engineer. Which field in electrical engineering job should i enter? for example, in construction, in manufacturing of electrical equipments in substations and the like, in distribution utilities/gencos.
refineries
Q: I was wondering this, as I'm a smoker and never smoke in the house (due to owning expensive computers and such).Would the vapor from an E-cig be safe around electrical equipment? I would presume no, since the water vapor instantly evaporates after being breathed out, as apposed to smoke which lingers around and is rougher than air, which overtime damages fans and circuitry it passes over. Thanks for reading.-Karu
Over time it's possible the vapor would leave a film on surfaces, especially if it's got a high glycerin content. Ask anyone that vapes in their car with the windows up, eventually you've gotta break out the windex. It's not a haze like smoke leaves, it's a greasy film since it's glycerin and glycol.
Q: I don't understand how oil and gas industry has anything to do with electrical engineering jobs??Am I not seeing this because currently I am working as a electronics engineer ? This is how I am thinking about this - Oil and gas industry , digs up oil , provides it to our cars and trucks so they can run. Now I don't understand how or where Electrical engineers come into play into this ?? Please make me understand. I want to know.P.s: I am an entry level electronics engineer, with a degree in Electrical engineering , Currently I am located in Houston, texas.
A great deal of electric power is used in extracting oil and gas from the ground, transporting it through pipelines, separating and refining the crude products and distributing the products. Electrical engineers design the required electrical equipment and the associated electric power distribution and control systems. In some situations, electric power must be generated on site rather than purchased from electric utility companies. In addition, electrical engineers are involved in the process instrumentation and control system design. The process control includes both computer systems and specialized electronic equipment.
Q: For civilian populations as well as the military? Why is our government not doing enough to protect civilian populations in this country?
First of all, the cost of producing an EMP weapon that could effectively disrupt equipment in an area larger than a few square meters would be astronomical. Second, it would be much more effective to initiate a cyber attack which could produce exponentially more damage than an electical magnetic pulse. Third, electrical lines generate significant amounts of EMI and EMF so it really is not necessarry to harden them. It wouldn't really proctect them, they don't need it. By harden I assume you mean EMP sheilding typically used in military sytems?
Q: I accidentally connected the negative and positive terminals of my battery with a wrench, I have checked all the fuses and none look to be blown. What else should I be looking for?
Do you have electrical power at all, on any thing? You don't say what else it affected. Could be a fuse link burned that controls all the power to the car. If just your lights, some light switches have built in breakers, which shut off the lights when a wire in the light circuit, like a door light, shorts out. This protects the rest of the system. There might be a reset on the switch. But it would be car specific, meaning how to reset it would be in a manual, or someplace, and might require taking the switch out of the dash. If that is not the case, look for a 30 amp fuse which is usually what lights use, that might be blown.
Q: I have a piece of electrical equipment at a voltage potential of 277VAC to ground. Due to hardware problems I have an air gap of 3/8 from ground to 277VAC when it used to be one inch. Please advise if I am safe to leave it that way or should I add insulation.
That is ok with respect to any possible arc. But there may be other reasons to add insulation. Safety for example. If it's easy to add the insulation, do it. .
Q: I know that B is flammable liquid and C is electrical equipment. thanks.
A puts out fires of ordinary combustibles, such as wood and paper.
Our company owns several automatic production lines and enough experience in the production and research of linear actuators and controllers. Our products are popularized in many occasions when need to be implemented with rectilinear motion such as electrical nursing beds, operational beds, traction beds, massage chairs, dental chairs, electrical sofas and show-cases. These products can adjust heights, move between front and behind, as well as angle change, which take the place of gas springs as well as AC decelerators.
