Q: I just found a band recently that was doom metal that I thought was pretty cool. this is the only doom metal band I know thats good. there called Swallow the Sun. anyone know of any other good doom metal bands.: KoRn: The founders of Nu-metal, probably the best nu-metal band Recommended songs: Freak on a Leash, Falling Away From Me, Blind Slipknot: Were fairly similar to KoRn in the lyrics and meaning aspect, leaning more towards metal. Recommended songs: Wait and Bleed, Left Behind, Before I Forget, Psychosocial Linkin Park: Mainly people consider Linkin Park to be a great Nu-Metal band (I personally don't like them but they do deserve a mention) I recommend the Hybrid Theory album. Q: properties of group 1 metals: Well...screamo, emo, punk, core aren't metal dude. They're just scene kid music. Real metal subgenres are stuff like death metal, black metal, doom metal, thrash metal, power metal, and their many subgenres aswell..melodic black metal, symphonic black..etc. There are many good bands out now, under these subgenres...if you've never heard of them you should definitly check 'em out dude. I love just about all subgenres of metal. (Not hardcore and screamo) haha Oh and by the way... Meshuggah is Metalcore. Hardcore dude. Not metal.

Diffuse reflection is when light rays hit a rough surface, and the light bounces EVERYWHERE.
