FAQ

Q: Do you have any MOQ limit?

Our MOQ is 200 pieces.

Q: How long is the warranty period for the solar modules?

15 years 90% of its nominal power rating.

25 years 80% of its nominal power rating

Q: What does it take to install the solar panel? Cable wires to power source or fuse box? Anything else? How does the cable wires stay on the solar panel?
How does the cable wires stay on the solar panel? With wire retention clips (4 per module) that are used to wrap the wire on the underside of the module frame. The home run cables to the transition box (converts between types of wire with no electrical transformation occuring) or combiner box (joins multiple source circuits in parallel, with the positives fused for safety) are usually tied along the racking system components, and with conduit sections used as needed. Racking is another big part of the installation. Don't just make your own homemade wooden rack, as these will weather away to nothing very easily, and cause great failures. GET a professionally designed metal racking system. PV modules are EXPENSIVE. Don't let the racking system cause them to break. It also requires the inverter, if you intend it to connect to the main electric service. If using multiple inverters, you need an AC combining panelboard to join them prior to entering the main electric service. Otherwise, you need to think about how else you might be using them. If you are charging batteries, you need a charge controller.
Q: What direction do solar panels usually point? North? East? South? West?
Oh wow, please ignore approx 50% of the answers here. We live off-grid and solar is my business. If you are in North America, they should face SOUTH. The comment about them facing the equator is accurate. What has not been said though, is the angle they should be at. For optimal sun exposure, the angle from horizontal for the panel should be equal to your latitude. So if you live in Colorado for example, at approximately 40 degrees latitude, your panel should be at 40 degrees from horizontal.
Q: What is the impact of roof material on solar panels' performance?
The impact of roof material on solar panels' performance can be significant. The type of roof material can affect the amount of sunlight that reaches the panels, as some materials may reflect or absorb more sunlight than others. Additionally, certain roof materials may generate more heat, which can lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the solar panels. Choosing the right roof material, such as those with good heat dissipation properties and low reflectivity, can help maximize the performance and output of solar panels.
Q: Can solar panels be used in commercial buildings or industrial settings?
Yes, solar panels can definitely be used in commercial buildings or industrial settings. In fact, many businesses and industries are increasingly adopting solar energy systems to reduce their reliance on traditional energy sources and lower their carbon footprint. Solar panels can be installed on rooftops, parking lots, or other available spaces, providing clean and renewable energy to power various operations and meet the energy demands of commercial and industrial facilities.
Q: I'm going to this camp and the instructors asked us to be prepared tomorrow to build a sun tracker for a solar panel. Does any one have any ideas, tips, or advice?
Since the sun moves in the sky on a very predicatable course you don't need a closed loop control system to track it. All you need is a clock-drive motor and the proper gearing for your latitude. The clock drive motor will move at a constant rotational velocity based on time, and when it is geared down properly the angle of the shaft will follow the sun. Make sure the clock motor is powerful enough to move the solar panel, etc. That's a start, anyway. .
Q: What is the most efficient solar panel, how many would we need to power the United States, and how much land would it take?
I know that the US uses 500 Gigawatts (giga is 0 ^9). I think a solar panel meter square might generate at most 00W. So you would need 500E9/00 = 5 trillion of these. 5 trillion square meters is 70 kilometers on a side. Dont forget about night and clouds!
Q: hey, i am wanting to help our earth a little bit, and I was wondering how to do a solar panel connection for powering my home.... i just want to reduce my energy bill a little bit, Would these solar panels work?and how would i connect them?
I okorder Hope this helps.
Q: I live in a higher LATITUDE so in the winter months, there is a limitation in the amount of sunlight available, but will this impediment restrict the ability of solar panels to function due to the lack of sunlight involved?
Solar panels are *more* effective in places with abundant sunlight, but can be used anywhere that there is light. The problem is an economic one. Solar panels are expensive and can only produce so many watts per square meter. If you have less sunlight, you'll need more panels to get the same amount of power. Germany has a relatively high latitude, and are reported to make extensive use of solar panels (funny, I spent 2 weeks there last month and saw very few panels). The reason for their use of the panels is that their government offsets the cost of installing them through subsidies. Other governments have similar programs.
