- I would personally skip just the bedding. It's really expensive and can hurt a hedgehog more than it can doing good. I would say use fleece liners. They are clean, easy and very in-expensive and re-usable just pop them in the washer. They don't seem to hold in the urine like bedding does and they are safe for hedgehogs.
- Q: I got a new full sized bed. The problem is my full/queen sized bedding does not fit. The height of the bed and the box spring togeather is so high my bedding doesn't fit right my my bed. Do I really need a box spring or can i just have my mattres? Thank you!!:D
- You need to purchase deep pocket sheets to cover your mattress. Your new mattress needs to have the support of the box spring, or you take the chance of ruining the mattress. (The exception would be if you were putting the mattress directly on the floor, or had a box bed, in which case the box acts as the box spring). Not to mention, that not using a box spring may void out any warranty that came along with the purchase of the new bed. I'd check with the place that you purchased the bed from. Best of luck.

- More than likely, it isn't eating it's bedding just chewing and gnawing on it, which is okay, because most bedding that is made for guinnea pigs, rabbits, hampsters and other small animals are going to be non toxic to them. However, I have found that the best option for bedding for my guinnea pig is aspen shavings. Be SURE not to get pine or cedar because the oils on them can be harmful for their respiratory system. Aspen shavings can be bought at most pet stores or Petco, it is pretty affordable, and also helps alot with the odor. Good Luck, Hope that I've helped.

- Pffft, I wish my parents were cool with me staying at a guys house. bahah. Anywho, I would probably go with full size. Yes, it costs more. Yes, it takes up space. But hey! You'll wanna full size eventually, you're not gonna want a twin size forever. You can get it now and won't have to worry about it later!
