- It is going to be hard to get them to stay in their own bed. You have to be strong and make them stay in their bed. Even if it means you don't sleep much for the first night or two. Put them in their beds at bedtime. Prepare for this, tell them they are big and that they have their own bedrooms. Fix the room up so they like it. Be creative. They are going to scream, kick and bawl, but if you take them back to their room every time they come into yours. They will eventually get the message. Sleep in their room if you have to. Just let them know they are not going to sleep in your room period. You can't back down, or give in, because its in the middle of the night and you want to sleep. You have to put them back in their bed. Good luck!!!

- Yes, aspen is a good choice. Avoid pine and cedar (cedar is worse then pine, but both are poor choices)- they contain aromatic hydrocarbons- which are airborne phenolic compounds that can cause upper respiratory irritation and, over the long term, liver damage. Another safe choice are the recycled newspaper-based litters and beddings like CareFresh (which is good for full-cage bedding), or Yesterday's News or Cell-Sorb (which are great for use in litter boxes).

- a bed-in-a-bag is the comfortor, 2 sheets and the pillow cases. It is not a mattress. Get a sleeping bag to sleep in for the time being or get one of those air beds. The twin size are under $100. then get the twin bed-in-a-bag thing to go on it. Twin sets have only one pillow case. Those air beds are actually very comfortable. You may not want to change to standard after sleeping on it.
