I'm a fresh out of High School graduate looking to increase my knowledge in the construction industry as an heavy machine operator, In my case the excavator would be a preferable because I grew up around one and have used them before. My father was a heavy machine operator and I want to follow in his steps but sadly he's no longer with us so I can't take on his knowledge and use it to my advantage but I learned from what he's taught me before hand. - With the skills that you already have, you may be able to enter at a higher level than the apprentices just entering the union without any skills. See if you can talk to the apprentice coordinator, but I can almost guarantee you'll start as an apprentice.

- I have been in the business for over 25 yrs. use a tree spade. The weight of the ball alone will require a small crane or large loader to move it out of the hole and the fifty feet to the new hole. Second if you don't know the secret of balling large trees, the ball will fall apart when you try to move it. you will then snap the roots and damage the tree. why take a chance with such a nice tree. This is the very reason they invented tree spades. a good operator will have it done in two hours or less including the plug hole.
- Q: I live in a condo complex. Four years ago there was an irrigation problem in front of my unit because my sidewalk was uneven. When it rained water would collect and cover the sidewalk. The board members at the time decided to cut corners and rather than raise the sidewalk, they simply punched 2-3quot; diameter holes in the cement (12 of them in a span of 10-15 feet!)...and now...there is no dirt under the sidewalk and when we have a good rain, water runs out from underneath the sidewalk and there's a moderate sized 'stream' that flows toward my porch. - Suitable for what? In my experience, CAT320 a a solid general purpose excavator. There are larger models, but 320 will fulfill just about any excavation task. It can also be outfitted with concrete breaker or concrete shears.

- Newspaper, paper towels, slate tiles and non-adhesive shelf liner are all completely safe and suitable substrates... the last two also having a pretty natural look. NEVER use sand for leopard geckos of ANY age.
