- The company may try to fire you (but all the more grounds for a lawsuit) I was hurt working one time and well I wanted to but money was tight and they just bought me off anyways... so they could try and fire you for trying to sue them, as far as being legal to do so, I don't think so.. Especially if your company is careless and hazardous, than you got an even bigger chance to win (I would think on legal grounds).. so if you want to pursue it hook up with a lawyer, build your case and than go slap em in the face with the supena to court.. You want it to be solid so it will go in your favor.. just remember that.. hope this helps..

- it depends on your definition of machinery. I define machinery as something with moving parts and a propulsion system. so a hang glider or a bunch of balloons doesn't fit the criteria and both will definitely get you up in the air.

- Q: My contractor table saw has 2hp motor first starts up caused my lights in my basement to dim and as it running seems like it has some shaking in it, I can feel in the saw table, also the basement light seems to flickering or diming out the whole time when saw is in used. Any idea what is the cause guys. I could use some advice here. By the way this motor is running on 110 volts 60 hertz.
- The lights dim because the saw is pulling too many amps for the circuit it is on. To fix that problem, install a dedicated circuit (20 amp, 12 gage wire) for the saw. The vibration is most often because the base and table of the saw are not heavy enough or the motor is not attached tightly or is mis aligned. This is why good quality contractor saws always have big cast iron tables. This is pretty much the old saying of you get what you pay for. You may be able to reduce vibration if you can figure out a way to attach concrete blocks to the bottom of the table. ( By hanging them from rope wire etc.) Anything to add substantial weight. And check the alignment of the motor and the saw arbor and the motor to the arbor.
