Q: I have a t-mobile phone and a plan. But i'm only a year into my contract. I don't want to change the plan but i want to change the phone. I was wondering if i can buy the phone i want from t-mobile which is a SIDEKICK LX- carbon. and just insert my SIM CARD into it and use it. Will it work if i just put my SIM card into it? and will i be able to access the network AIM. i don't need anything else. i just want to be able to receive and send calls and log into AIM, keep the same phone number and listen to my music thats it. can someone help me out plz. Thanks in Advance
I also have t-mobile and they have good customer service well if you buy one for t-mobile i think you can buy the full price which about $200 or they could extend your contract and give it to you with a discount. I would rather just buy the phone. Not having a contract makes you monthly bills a little lower for like 20 less. It does have AIM so don't worry and yes you can just insert the Sim card to you new phone with the same number.
Q: I really LOVE the virgin mobile phone, and i want to get it but i wanted to know if any virgin mobile phones are going to come out soon. By the way, i love the big screen and the design of the phone.im looking for a full smart phone and not like the slider or optimus v.P.S. my birthday is feb. 10 and i want to get it by then so any time before that is nice.its ok if its a week later ;-)THANKS SOO MUCH :-)
Honestly I would wait for a different one. I am a best bu mobile employee and i had the phone for about 4 months and just thought it could of been better. 1. The battery is so dreadful, i got maybe 4hrs out of it. 2. The signal strength on the phone was absolutely terrible. I never got more than 3 bars in places i would normally get full strength and that was on other virgin mobile phones. 3. The camera on the back would be really funky sometimes. It would show any picture i took with a blue color and i had no effects on it. 4. It got really dirty really quickly and the back cover never really fits on there correctly. I would say wait, i believe they should be getting some new phones to virgin sometime late feb.-mid march.
Q: I have a T-Mobile phone and I was wondering if I could trade it in for free at the T-Mobile place
If its not your personal phone you are using now, you would probably get more money for it if you sell it yourself.
Q: Mobile phone lost how to set up call transfer?
If your number is the ID card network users, the phone business password, you can hit the man.
Q: If a aircraft forms a faraday cage (I'm thinking the pressurized comair types) then how would a mobile phone effect a external signal? Or does a comair form a faraday cage (im thinking now of everyone who immediately busts out their mobile as the flights lands,,,)??Essentially what avionics package does a mobile operating 800/900/1800/1900 (and whatever other common rf mobiles use) interfere with?
At the wavelengths used by mobile phones, the signal goes through the windows which are non-conducting and mesh-free. I would hope that nothing on a modern plane is vulnerable to consumer electronics - radiated RF from laptops, cellphones transmitting at full power, or some idiot with a 5W VHF. If you are designing avionics, or anything for military applications, you put it in a shielded case with conducting gaskets and filtered feed-thrus. Then test it to make sure it still works with a radar pointing at it.
Q: do iphone app work on other mobile phones?if so what phones?and if not why not?
nope check with the app's developer or website and see if they make them for other platforms/phones. Some of the popular companies that make apps for the iphone make them for other phones also. Especially the big game maker companies like EA (electronic arts). They do not make them for all platforms because it is like going back and reprograming the app for Mac when it was made for Windows. Get it?
Q: i lost my mobile yesterday wen iwas at school, last thing i remember is pushing it back into my pocket just before entering the playground after having lunch at home What should i do?I've already looked in the 3 classrooms i was in but should i ask everyone at school??? PLEASE HELPoh and my phone was switched off so i cant phone it
Call the mobile company and inform them of this matter and tell them to require a special password code from anybody who calls regarding your phone account. Or you may just want to have it shut off. I don't know. P.S. Think back to happier times when cell phones didn't exist :)
Q: I am looking to get a new mobile phone. What phone do you own? And what do you think is the best contract phone out there?
I have a pink LG AX275 from Alltel Wireless. My plan is U Prepaid. I pay 75 cents a day for unlimited texting and nights and weekends, although I could choose from -Unlimited Texting -Unlimited Nights and Weekends -Unlimited Favorite Number calling -Unlimited Mobile to Mobile I could pay 1 dollar a day for three features, or 1.25 dollars a day for all four features, but the 2 features work best for my budget. This plan is prepaid, therefore is not a contract. Because I text so much, I think the Scoop would be better for me, but I like my pink phone too. Just be aware that if you get it, it scratches easily when dropped on a rough surface (such as the street) I think the plans that are the best ones for you money either are Alltel or Ntelos. One of Alltel's many plans is you pay $49.99 plus taxes a month for 750 minutes, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited nights and weekends, and 5 My Circle people. My circle means you can call five people of your choice, on any network, whether it be cell phone or not, for free any time. One of Ntelos's many plan's is you pay $29.99 plus taxes for 300 minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited mobile to mobile. It is an additional $9.99 if you would like unlimited texting. I know many of the phones are good, and the Razrs are on sale for $9.99 with a new 2 year contract. Now if the money for the plan doesn't matter to you, I suggest getting an iphone from att, or one of the touch phones from the carrier of your choice. If you text a lot, then a touch phone and/or a phone with a full keyboard, such as the enV from verizon will suit you best. If you are a simple person and just want a phone with a few perks, I think the razr is a good phone. It all really depends on your needs on what plan/phone you get. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me.
Q: how i can bye a mobile phone in Bangkok ?And I want sites to check prices
You can buy mobile phones everywhere in Thailand as calling is Thai girls addiction number one. Best deals are usally in the small phoneshops you find in the basement or topfloor of any shoppingmall, you can demand a discount, the beter shops they discount, or just look for another one. Usually there are 10s of small phoneshops in row. I warn you don't buy a second hand, they usually have hidden trouble or al least they just changed the battery for a fake one. Nokia is ofcourse the best buy, especially for messaging. If you call international check for the best prefix like 001, 008, 009 to call with a reduced price. Prepaid cards you buy everywhere really. 7-Eleven for example. 12Call and DTAC are the only good providers with national coverage. If you buy a simple GPRS phone like the Nokia 3310 (3.000 bath) you can check your emails as well, (best with yahoo and Gmail) and chat with all your MSN, Yahoo, Gmail contacts if you download eBuddy. Internet cost you around 60 bath for 6 hours, or 1000 bath full time for a month, you need to register GPRS credits at a phoneshop, best are the providers shops, AIS (12call) or DTAC, also in every shoppingmall. PS you can also use your non-Thai phone here by just changing the SIM card.
Q: Mobile phone network can not be used, how do?
But opened the mobile phone traffic, but still can not get on the net, then most of the mobile phone network settings
